Every once in a while, I compile a series of "The Essentials" which I feel is the best of songs from every artist. So far I've compiled quite a number of artists, and here they are so far.
Here's "The Essentials" for Ashley Tisdale who hasn't enjoyed a lot of success with her latest album Guilty Pleasure and her first single from the album It's Alright, It's OK.
Here I have gathered some of Disney's Pop Princesses tracks from their various albums/soundtracks. This comprehensive list of "The Essentials" features Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Emily Osment.
Now that August is over, and we gave you a month to vote for your favourite album of July '09, it seems Jordin Sparks sophomore album Battlefield has won. I find that really weird because sales were disappointingly low but I really did like Jordin's sophomore effort and I am rather glad it won. Daughtry was second with Leave This Town, followed by Ashley Tisdale's Guilty Pleasure with Demi Lovato's Here We Go Again closely behind.
On the Billboard Hot 100, the Black Eyed Peas are still topping the charts with I Gotta Feeling. Cobra Starship's Good Girls Go Bad featuring the Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester is currently at #10. Katy Perry is just behind by one position with Waking Up In Vegas. Jordin Sparks' Battlefield is at #13, down from #10 the previous week. Mariah Carey's newest single Obsessed lags behind at #14. Shakira's new single She Wolf is at #21, Colbie Caillat's Fallin' For You is at #43, far from its peak of #12. Demi Lovato's lead single from her sophomore album Here We Go Again of the same title has dropped from #15 the previous week to #53, obviously the single's success is shortlived.
On the Billboard 200, the chart-topper is Loso's Way (Soundtrack), by Fabolous. Daughtry's Leave This Town is still staying strong and at #2. Tha Hannah Montana 3 soundtrack is now at #7 this time. Last week's chart topper, Here We Go Again by Demi Lovato is now at #8. Behind it are Fearless and The Fame by Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga respectively. This week's debut sees Ashely Tisdale's second album Guilty Pleasure at a respectable #12 position. Jordin Sparks' Battlefield is at #21 this time. Funhouse by P!nk is #37 this week. On the Billboards for a very respectable 145 weeks is Taylor Swift's self-titled debut album, at #36 this time round. Daughtry's self-titled debut album has also been on the Billboards for 141 weeks, another respectable figure.
You might find this title rather familiar, as this song was recorded by Ashley Tisdale for her latest album Guilty Pleasure. This was one of the bonus tracks on that album. That was one of the bonus songs that caught on for me. I was really excited when I heard that Katy Perry recorded this for Ashley Tisdale. It feels more mature and I have to say it's good.
Here is Ashley Tisdale performing some tracks from her latest album Guilty Pleasure at AOL Music Sessions. They're pretty good, so definitely check them out.

The highly successful telemovie, High School Musical has spun-off a sequel. And all the songs on the soundtrack are definitely fun to groove along to. It's very teensy and great for summer. All the tracks have a catchy tune and I think lots of teens will go crazy over it. It's just a fun soundtrack, a kid version of Mamma Mia soundtrack. Not the best album I've heard, but will get people up and dancing and singing along to it.

Ashley Tisdale's sophomore album Guilty Pleasure is not really what other people say to be Ashley trying to grow up. Her music has always been like that and is sure to be a hit with teens all round. Her lead single It's Alright, It's OK is really quite decent. My personal favourite definitely is What If. American Idol's Kara DioGuardi wrote the song for Ashley and I must say it's really nice. Right now, It's Alright, It's OK, What If and Time's Up (Deluxe Edition Bonus Track) have found a place in my heart. But other than that, the other tracks are just forgettable unless you're a hardcore Ashley Tisdale fan. Well, give it a listen, you might not want to buy it, and you might. You make the decision. But I definitely liked more tracks from her debut album, Headstrong.
We review the latest in 21st century. Mostly we do pop, but it doesn't really matter, along with new music premieres, video premieres, album premieres. If the links don't work, please notify me in the cbox right below and I will post a new link in the cbox. Thanks.
Artist Of The Month. (November 2011)
The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st!
