Adam Lambert - If I Had You live on The X Factor Australia

There was something vocally off about this performance, I just don't know what. Anyway, Adam Lambert is currently on his Glam Nation Tour but he is in Australia for these three days promoting his music. He hit The X Factor Australia to give a performance of If I Had You, the third international single lifted off from his debut album For Your Entertainment. I think he's just tired. He even messed up a bit of the lyrics at the end. Take a little rest dude. But props to him for working so hard for his success.

Billboard Update

Bruno Mars continues his Hot 100 domination with Just The Way You Are leading the pack at #1. Eminem and Rihanna's Love The Way You Lie has slipped however, falling to #3 while Katy Perry's Teenage Dream moves up to #2 after briefly falling out of the Top 3 at #4 last week. Rihanna's new single Only Girl (In The World) falls 5 spots to #8 this week after leaping up to #3 last week. I remember this happening to Taylor Swift's Mine after it made a glittering debut at #3, it kind of went downhill from then on. This week, Mine sits outside the Top 10 at #11 this week while Ke$ha's Take It Off falls a spot to #12 this week. The Glee Cast have invaded the Hot 100 once again after the first episode of Season 2 premiered last week and Empire State of Mind has made a debut at #21, Telephone at #23, Billionaire at #28, Listen at #38 and What I Did For Love at #51. OneRepublic has managed to reach yet a new peak with their latest single Secrets which is definitely a slow burner. Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You has lost some steam, dropping to #31 this week after entering Top 30 territory last week at #30. Entering Top 40 ground this week is Daughtry, whose latest single has reached a new peak of #40 this week while it continues to climb. Sara Bareilles' King of Anything looks like it's a long distance runner as it bounces up to #41 this week after falling to #45 last week. Selena Gomez' A Year Without Rain rebounds back up to #53 this week.

Zac Brown Band's You Get What You Give makes a debut at #1 this week while Maroon 5's latest studio album Hands All Over debuts behind it at #2. Selena Gomez & The Scene's sophomore album A Year Without Rain makes a debut at #4 this week. Katy Perry's Teenage Dream drops to #13 this week while Fantasia's third album Back To Me falls to #16 this week. Falling really fast is Sara Bareilles' second album Kaleidescope Heart falls seven more spots to #19 this week in only its third week. Colbie Caillat's second album returns to #168 on the chart.

Katy Perry's Teenage Dream has been knocked off the top spot, falling to #4 this week while Bruno Mars conquers the Hot 100 with his debut single Just The Way You Are. Making a ginormous leap into the Top 3 is Rihanna with Only Girl (In The World) flying up from #75 to #3. Ke$ha sits outside the Top 10 at #11 this week with her latest single Take It Off, trailed behind by Taylor Swift's Mine which stands at #12 this week. Adam Lambert struts his way into the Top 30 with his latest release If I Had You moving up a spot to #30 this week. Daughtry's latest single September is still inching up the chart standing at a peak of #53 this week. After debuting high at #35 last week, Selena Gomez & The Scene's A Year Without Rain falls 30 spots down to #65 this week. Fantasia's Bittersweet moves a spot up to #84 this week after two consecutive weeks of falling. Justin Bieber's Somebody To Love returns to the Hot 100 this week at #90 after that VMA performance.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Linkin Park debuts at #1 with A Thousand Suns while Katy Perry's Teenage Dream falls to #9 this week. Last week's #1, Sara Bareilles' Kaleidoscope Heart falls to #12, trailed behind by Fantasia's Back To Me at #13. The Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam soundtrack falls thirteen spots to #23. Ke$ha's debut album Animal sits outside the Top 40 at #41 this week. Carrie Underwood's third studio album Play On falls to #76 this week from #47 last week. Billboard Update

Pop superstar Katy Perry continues to top the Hot 100 at #1 for a second consecutive week. Ke$ha's latest single Take It Off sticks at #8 for a second week in a row. Inching its way up on the Hot 100 is OneRepublic's latest offering Secrets and Adam Lambert's latest dance/pop single If I Had You sitting at new peaks of #26 and #31 respectively. It's the release week of Sara Bareilles' sophomore album Kaleidoscope Heart which means it has propelled the lead single King of Anything to #32, a new peak for the single. Selena Gomez & The Scene's latest single A Year Without Rain makes a debut at #35. Michael Buble's latest single Hollywood makes a debut at #55 while Daughtry's latest single September hits a new peak of #57. Rihanna's latest single Only Girl (In The World) makes a debut at #75 on airplay alone, a singles artist she truly is. Spurred by the success of A Year Without Rain, Selena Gomez & The Scene's lead single Round And Round moves up from #82 to #77.

Singer songwriter Sara Bareilles dominates the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with Kaleidoscope Heart storming in at #1 with over 90, 000 copies sold in its first week. Katy Perry's Teenage Dream holds on to its position at #4 while Fantasia's Back To Me sits outside the Top 10 at #11. Looks like Sara Bareilles both starts and ends the chart as her debut album Little Voice re-enters at #200.

Billboard Update

The release week of Katy Perry's sophomore album Teenage Dream bumped up single sales for her current single, the title track and California Gurls, which helped push both tracks up a spot to reach #2 and #7 on the Hot 100 this week. Teenage Dream has reached a new peak by the way, standing at #2 while album track Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) debuts down the chart at #67. However, the might of Katy Perry just cannot get a hold on Eminem and Rihanna, who have been ruling the charts for so long with Love The Way You Lie holding up at #1 again. However, I don't expect this to last for too long. After slipping off the Top 10 last week, Taylor Swift's Mine has returned to the Top 10, moving up to #9 this week while Ke$ha's latest single Take It Off rounds out the Top 10 and reaches a new peak of #10 this week on the Hot 100. Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You stays at its current spot of #32 for a second week. OneRepublic has achieved a new peak for their new single Secrets as it swings into #35 this week. Sara Bareilles' King of Anything remains stuck at #58 this week, just 7 spots away from its peak when it debuted on the chart. Despite her personal life struggles, I truly believe Fantasia has overcome them and Bittersweet has yet moved up again to reach a new peak on the Hot 100 at #74. Daughtry's latest single September from platinum-selling sophomore album Leave This Town has moved up to a new peak as well, hitting #75 this week.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Katy Perry's Teenage Dream has hit #1, trailed by a very different artist Fantasia, with her latest set Back To Me. OneRepublic's second album Waking Up makes a move up to #105 this week.

Eminem & Rihanna still stand proudly at the top with Love The Way You Lie standing high and mighty at #1 for yet another week. They'd better watch their backs though, Taio Cruz is snapping at their heels with his latest single Dynamite gaining the Airplay Gainer title. Taylor Swift's new pop ditty Mine makes a glittering debut at #3. Sadly, Katy Perry's not having a very bright week on the Hot 100 with California Gurls slipping to #4 and latest single Teenage Dream falling to #9. Jason DeRulo returns to the top 10 of the Hot 100 with Ridin' Solo moving up one rung to #10 this week. Ke$ha's latest single Take It Off is still rapidly firing its way up the chart, hitting a brand new peak of #27 up from #52 last week. As we inch closer to the release date of Katy Perry's sophomore album Teenage Dream, she releases a track every week to iTunes and last week's track Not Like The Movies debuts at #53. Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You moves to a new peak of #54. Rihanna's latest single Rockstar 101 is surprisingly doing well, jumping to a new peak of #68 up from a debut at #99 last week. Fantasia may be having some troubles with her personal life, but her latest single Bittersweet has made a move up to a new peak of #90. Here's hoping 'Tasia gets herself together and starts promoting Bittersweet and gets her music career back on track. Daughtry's latest single September makes a surprise debut this week at #94.

Eminem's position of Recovery stays rock solid at #2 while Arcade Fire's The Suburbs takes the top spot this week on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Lady Gaga collects her third Top 10 album with The Remix debuting at #6 this week. Christina Aguilera's Bionic falls again, this week to #83.

Eminem & Rihanna's collaboration on Love The Way You Lie stay put at the top of the Hot 100 while Katy Perry remains at #2 with California Gurls. Rounding out the Top 10 for a second consecutive week is Jason DeRulo with Ridin' Solo. Katy Perry's latest single Teenage Dream debuts at #20 on the Hot 100 thanks in part to high digital downloads. Carrie Underwood's Undo It remains strong at #24 for a second week. OneRepublic and Selena Gomez & The Scene are on the climb as Secrets and Round & Round move up to #35 and #37 respectively. Also on the upward trend is Ne-Yo's latest single Beautiful Monster standing at #53 this week while his R&B/Urban single Champagne Life makes a debut at #75. Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts and Sara Bareilles' King of Anything stand at #63 and #64 respectively. Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You stays put at #69 this week. Ke$ha's latest single Take It Off has found its way into the Hot 100, re-entering at #92 this week.

It's same ol' same ol' on the Billboard 200 albums chart as Eminem takes top spot again this week with Recovery. Thanks to her success with her singles, Katy Perry's debut album One of the Boys has returned to the Billboard 200 albums chart at #70 this week. OneRepublic's Waking Up hit #112 this week thanks to the success of Secrets.

Billboard Update

Katy Perry holds on to the top spot on the Hot 100 for yet another week trailed behind by Eminem and Rihanna's collaboration for Love The Way You Lie. Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug drops to #8 and Lady Gaga's Alejandro falls to #9 while Jason DeRulo's latest single Ridin' Solo shoots up to #10, making it his third consecutive Top 10 hit on the Hot 100. With the release of her new album Can't Be Tamed, Miley Cyrus' lead single and title track jumps back into the Top 20, sitting at #18 this week. Teen pop sensations Selena Gomez & The Scene's Round & Round debuts at #24, making it her highest charting single on the Hot 100 yet, while the other teenage sensation Justin Bieber's latest single Somebody To Love moves up to #25. Colbie Caillat's I Never Told You keeps inching its way up, rising to #58 this week, trailed behind by Sara Bareilles' snazzy new single King of Anything which debuts at #59. Ne-Yo's brand new single Beautiful Monster falls down one spot to #65. Remember one of the songs on Miley Cyrus' new album Can't Be Tamed I singled out to be a stand out ballad? Guess what, the stand out ballad Stay debuts at #75 this week thanks to digital downloads. Miranda Cosgrove's teen-friendly pop/rock debut single as a proper recording artist Kissin' U re-enters at #93 while Adam Lambert's latest single If I Had You debuts at #94.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Eminem sells well over 750, 000 copies of Recovery, which lands him a spot at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Miley Cyrus' latest album Can't Be Tamed debuts at #3, selling a meagre 102, 000 copies in its first week. (Anyone remember the disappointing album sales of Christina Aguilera's Bionic and she's been trying hard to keep afloat? Careful, Miley). Speaking of Bionic, which has been on the chart for a third week now, it hasn't just slipped out of the Top 10, it's slipped out of the Top 20 altogether, holding unsteadily at #22. Round And Round, Selena Gomez & The Scene's lead single from their upcoming sophomore album might not be available on their debut album, but it seems Kiss & Tell is seeing the effects of Round And Round hitting #118 up from #152 the previous week. After I feared that Charice's debut international album Charice would fall of the charts this week after slipping all the way to #173 last week, she has rebounded back at #139 this week. After Katy Perry's domination on the Hot 100, it's not surprising her debut album has found its way back in the chart, re-entering at #175.

Adam Lambert new track: Can't Let You Go

Few American Idol graduates have found fame in the UK and only a handful have, with the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Jordin Sparks etc. But it seems RCA Records and 19 Entertainment are really doing their best to make Adam Lambert a global star. He releases his debut album For Your Entertainment in the UK soon and the lead single off the same name is currently climbing the UK Singles Chart. With the UK album release comes a bonus track in the form of a haunting ballad called Can't Let You Go. Enjoy!

Rihanna's reign at #1 with Rude Boy ends this week, dethroned by B.o.B.'s Nothin' On You, while Rude Boy has slipped to #2. Ke$ha collects her third straight Top 10 hit after previous singles like TiK ToK topped the charts and Blah Blah Blah peaked at #7. Your Love Is My Drug flies up 10 spots to reach an all-new peak of #9. After mentoring and performing on American Idol, Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me makes his highest charting song so far, rounding out the Top 10 thanks to digital sales gains. Christina Aguilera's Not Myself Tonight makes a relatively high debut of #23 thanks to much Internet buzz. Not surprisingly, Alejandro, Lady Gaga's latest single, rises again, shooting to #28 up from #50 last week. Colbie Caillat's I Never Told You rises up again to #81 this week. Alicia Keys' Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) also makes a rise, this week up to #83 from #88. The fourth single from Kelly Clarkson's album All I Ever Wanted of the same title rises up to #96 after making a debut at #99 last week.

Justin Bieber's My World 2.0 continues to top the Billboard 200 albums chart for a third non-consecutive week. Your Love Is My Drug is obviously helping Ke$ha's album sales as Animal returns to the Top 10, shooting up to #8. Jason Castro's self-titled album makes a relatively high debut at #18, selling over 18, 000 copies in its first week of release. Not surprisingly again, Adam Lambert's For Your Entertainment shoots up to #35 up from #77. OneRepublic's Waking Up continues rising up the chart, flying up to #80 up from #117. Another riser is Colbie Caillat's Breakthrough rounds out the Top 120.

On the Hot 100, Rihanna manages a three week stay at #1 with Rude Boy, which has since become her 6th #1 single on the Hot 100. As I'd predicted earlier, Lady Gaga's Telephone doesn't have much chart longevity, slipping to #5 this week. In anticipation for teen sensation Justin Bieber's My World 2.0, lead single Baby creeps up the Hot 100 yet again, moving up to #8, up from last week's position of #10. Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me is still moving up the charts without even promoting it in the US, moving up to #20 this week. Thanks to that performance on American Idol, Miley Cyrus' When I Look At You managed to shift more than double of what it had sold in the previous week. When I Look At You shoots to #25 up from #58 the previous week. Sean Kingston and Justin Bieber's collaboration on Eenie Meenie manages to debut at #30 this week. After news broke out that Your Love Is My Drug is set to be Ke$ha's third single, fans have been snapping it up. It shot straight from #91 to #57. That Should Be Me, one of the tracks off Justin Bieber's album debuts at #92 this week. Timbaland's collaboration with Katy Perry on If We Ever Meet Again has been a hit in the UK and has finally landed on the Hot 100 at #96. The second single I Never Told You from Colbie Caillat's Breakthrough debuts at #99.

On the Billboard 200 albums chart, Justin Bieber debuts at #1 with My World 2.0, shifting well over 280, 000 copies of his album and thanks to that, My World shoots to #5, up from #10 the previous week. Danny Gokey's My Best Days is falling faster and faster, selling less than 10, 000 copies this week, dropping to #50 this week. Miley Cyrus' EP has seen the effects of that American Idol performance as well as The Time Of Our Lives moves to #64, up from #74 last week. Mariah Carey's Memors Of An Imperfect Angel moves up the charts from #158 to #145.

OneRepublic finally breaks through into the top 20, as All The Right Moves climbs one rung up to #20 this week. The Black Eyed Peas are unstoppable. Imma Be storms the charts for it's second week, toppling Ke$ha's TiK ToK, which has since slipped to #4. It's not surprising Rihanna collects another hit from Rated R, coming in the form of Rude Boy, jumping to #8 this week. Newcomer Jason DeRulo's current single In My Head slips one spot to round out the top 10. Lady Gaga's Telephone continues its rise, moving up to #12 this week, and while Orianthi remains entrenched at #17 with According To You, Kris Allen's Live Like We're Dying moves up one more spot to #18. Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me moves up the Hot 100 this week, to #24. OneRepublic's All The Right Moves is taking a pretty long time to do well, but it's rising right now, this week to #25. Better late than never I guess. Carrie Underwood's second single Temporary Home from latest studio album Play On rises and peaks to #52 this week. Kris Allen's Haiti single Let It Be arrives at the Hot 100 at #63 this week. Miley Cyrus looks set to collect another hit with When I Look At You, rising to #79 this week.

Looks like Sade's still hot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with Soldier Of Love in its third week at #1, stopping big names like Lady Antebellum and Johnny Cash, which are at #2 and #3 respectively. Interestingly, Mariah Carey's Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel leaps to #66 from #124 last week, since there is currently no hit from Memoirs besides Up Out My Face and Angels Cry, which are singles from Angels Advocate. As mentioned before, Kris Allen sees a leap in album sales as his self-titled debut jumps to #82 up from #154 the last week; while fellow Idol alum Allison Iraheta sees her debut album Just Like You re-enter the charts at #186. Orianthi's album Believe continues it's steady rise as it moves up to #88 this week.

Adam Lambert new track: Voodoo

American Idol Season 8 wildchild Adam Lambert has a got a load of bad publicity behind his name but also a huge fan following. His current single Whataya Want From Me is doing a pretty decent job on the charts, and is set to release his album For Your Entertainment in other territories around the world. I'm sure he's bound to do well though. Available as a bonus track is this new song Voodoo, and the title pretty fits him as a person.

Ke$ha continues to take top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, blocking even the We Are The World: 25 For Haiti from hitting the top like what Everybody Hurts did in the UK, which debuted atop the UK Singles Chart. With news of Blah Blah Blah featuring 3OH!3 being the second single single from Ke$ha's debut album Animal, Blah Blah Blah leaps to #11 this week. Lady Gaga's Telephone featuring Beyonce moves up one rung, peaking to #15 this week. Justin Bieber's Baby rises as well, this week to #15, with Orianthi's According To You rounding up the Top 20 this week. Kris Allen's Live Like We're Dying is also making its way up, peaking to #21 this week. Michael Buble's Haven't Met You Yet is slowly moving up, peaking to #25 this week. Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me is becoming his highest peaking song so far, sitting just outside the top 30, moving from #35 last week to #31 this week. American Idol Season 9's famed auditioner General Larry Platt surprised us with the "hook" found in Pants On The Ground, which quickly became the most talked about audition. This week, Pants On The Ground makes its debut at #46. Guess anything and everything can chart nowadays. Carrie Underwood is quickly getting herself another hit with Temporary Home despite hardly any promotion, peaking to #54 this week. Rihanna's latest single Rude Boy from Rated R arrives on the Hot 100 at #64.

Sade's comeback album Soldier Of Love debuts atop the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, pushing last week's chart topper Lady Antebellum into #2. Christina Aguilera re-appears on the Billboard 200 albums chart with Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade Of Hits re-entering the charts at #180.
