Christina Perri's A Thousand Years is also on the move up, moving up to #46. Jessie J's Domino moves up to #58 while Glee's Uptown Girl debuts at #68. Rihanna is genuinely the queen of the Hot 100 right now, with her new single You Da One arriving at #73 while Adele's Set Fire To The Rain re-enters at #89.
Mac Miller is at #1 on the albums chart while Michael Buble's annual album chart fest is in full swing with his Christmas album collects the Greatest Gainer Title and flies up to #2. The unstoppable Adele is a non-mover at #5 while Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas II You re-enters at the other side of the chart at #194.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley's duet on Remind Me rise a spot to #17 while Rihanna leaps up 25 stops to #25 with latest single Cheers (Drink To That). Jason DeRulo's new single It Girl makes its way to #39 this week. Adele's Someone Like You continues its upward crawl, sitting just outside the Top 50 at #51 this week. Avril Lavigne's Smile has started to fall, after peaking at a measly #68 last week, the pop/rock number has taken a tumble to #73 this week. After plummeting down the chart since its top 10 debut last month, Demi Lovato's Skyscraper finally makes a move up to #82 while Taylor Swift's new single Sparks Fly re-enters at #84. Lady Gaga's You And I re-enters at #96 as well.
The world's two biggest egos Jay Z and Kanye West have teamed up and their album Watch The Throne bows at #1 over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart. On the opposite spectrum of the chart, David Cook's close to falling out of the chart as This Loud Morning holds unsteadily at #188.

Jennifer Lopez slips back into the Top 5 with On The Floor while Britney Spears' Till The World Ends moves up to #7. Gaga's new promo single Hair debuts two spots outside of the Top 10 while current single The Edge of Glory dives from #3 last week to the rim of the Top 20 at #19. Shooting up the charts is OneRepublic with Good Life vaulting to a new peak of #28 this week. After some promotion, Beyonce's Run The World (Girls) still flops but returns to the Top 50.. right at #50. Glee's Pure Imagination debuts at #59, Back To Black at #82 and My Man at #94. This week sees two new arrivals with Nicole Scherzinger and Rihanna's Right There and California King Bed respectively debuting at #77 and #80. Taylor Swift's new single The Story of Us moves up to #88 while Jason DeRulo's Don't Wanna Go Home arrives at #92.

Taylor Swift - The Story Of Us [Music Video Premiere]
After releasing a video for country single Mean, Taylor Swift has a new one out called The Story Of Us and the video's set in a school library but doesn't look cheap and has a pretty nice story line I'm sure many can relate to - which is one of Swift's major selling points anyway. The Story Of Us should go on to be another moderate hit on the charts but single-wise, I wouldn't have gone with Mean or The Story of Us, and would definitely like to see the catchier songs like Haunted, Speak Now or Innocent get the single treatment instead.
But then again, this'll probably sell on its believability alone and Swift shouldn't be too worried about shifting another million copies or two of album Speak Now.
Wahey. Adele's lodged another week at #1 on the Hot 100 with Rolling In The Deep getting the Airplay Gainer Title, while Katy Perry stays strong at #2 with E.T.. After the not exactly embarrassing flop that was Judas, Gaga's official third single The Edge of Glory Top 3 debut seems more by Gaga's usual standards. Jennifer Lopez slips three spots to #6 with On The Floor. Glee's cover of this week's #1 Rolling In The Deep enters at #29, while the rest of this week's covers follow suit with Friday at #34, Jar of Hearts at #49, Isn't She Lovely at #65, I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend How To Dance at #72 and Dancing Queen at #74. OneRepublic's slow burner of a single Good Life rises to a new peak of #44. Jordin Sparks' new single I Am Woman debuts at #82 thanks to that performance on American Idol. Jennifer Lopez' I'm Into You falls to #91 in its second week out. Adele's Turning Tables has reappeared on the Hot 100 at #96 while Taylor Swift debuts with her new pop single The Story of Us at #98.

Taylor Swift has enjoyed some massive success in her Speak Now era, and is set to continue this success with the release of third single Mean. The song itself is nice enough but she turned the video into one of those self-empowering anthems which I did not enjoy. Still, it's bound to be a hit with fans.

Sneaking into the Top 40 is Jessie J with Price Tag making an all-new peak of #40 this week. Rocketing up the charts is Taylor Swift and her new single Mean as it makes a new peak of #48 this week since it got released as an official single off the album. Jennifer Hudson continues a downward slip to #82 with Where You At. Definitely another one of the sleeper hits, OneRepublic re-enters the chart at #97 with Good Life.
Adele returns to the top of the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with 21, shoving down Brit Brit's latest Femme Fatale to #2 in the process. Jennifer Hudson's sophomore effort I Remember Me falls to #11, down 4 spots from last week. Carrie Underwood must be doing something right, after her third disc Play On re-entered the chart at #164 last week, it's now leaped to a phenomenol #73.
The Academy of Country Music Awards took place last night and featured a host of guest performers, including the almighty Carrie Underwood and rocker Steven Tyler. The pair did two songs together, with Carrie kicking things off with her hit single Undo It, then inviting Steven on stage to finish the song off before singing the Aerosmith classic Walk This Way. Both were on fire and Carrie even pulled off an Avril Lavigne look with pink streaks in her blonde hair. Mmmm. Girl looked hot, that's for sure.
What's a Country Music Award show without Taylor Swift? These days, the Swifty has been perrforming across arenas all over the world on her Speak Now Tour, but took some time to perform her new single Mean. Vocally, her voice has gotten a little stronger, but that fake country accent in the verses and the bitch, please look? No. Vocals? Yes.
Speaking of vocals, for someone who's always been getting a lot of flack for her live vocals, Rihanna slayed on this duet with Jennifer Nettles of Country band Sugarland. The pair performed California King Bed, Rihanna's brand new single. Dang. But that hair..? Hmmmm.
Bruno Mars is still on top the Hot 100 with Grenade at #1 for a second consecutive week, meanwhile stopping P!nk in her tracks as F**kin' Perfect settles for #2, getting the Digital Gainer title. Meanwhile, Britney Spears' Hold It Against Me slips another 2 spots to #8 despite getting the Airplay Gainer title. On the way up is Taylor Swift with Back To December hitting #18 up from #22 last week. Also on her way up is Christina Perri, with Jar of Hearts dancing higher and higher to reach an all time high of #22. After a rather steep fall downwards last week, Avril Lavigne's What The Hell regains some steam to re-enter the Top 25 at #24 this week. Two ladies with rising singles are Rihanna with S&M and Adele with Rolling In The Deep moving up to #66 and #69 respectively. Ke$ha's latest single Blow re-enters the Hot 100 at #96 this week, making a new peak at the same time.
On the Billboard 200, Amos Lee's Mission Bell bows at #1 while Nicki Minaj flies up to #3 with Pink Friday getting the Greatest Gainer title. While Adele's 19 surges back up to #4 over in the UK, she's doing the same over in the US as 19 flies up to #57, an astounding 50 spots up from last week.

The rest of the Hot 100 is exactly where you'd expect them to be, with Katy Perry's Firework at #2, Enrique Iglesias' guilty pleasure of a trackTonight (I'm Lovin' You) rising up to #4. Gaining some serious momentum is P!nk's F**kin' Perfect which manages to hit a new peak of #11 thanks to digital downloads. Taylor Swift also moves up with Back To December hitting #22 this week. Going from strength to strength is Christina Perri, who's Jar of Hearts has flown to a new peak of #26. Suffering a huge slip is Avril Lavigne, whose What The Hell has fallen to #31. No worries, Lavigne's music video premiered last week so you can expect it to go up on this week's chart. Adele's Rolling In The Deep is also pushing its way up the charts, hitting #84 this week. Rihanna's latest single S&M has re-entered at #90 this week.
Over on the albums chart, the entire Top 5 is filled with new releases with The Decemberists at #1, looking down at Kidz Bop Kids, The Script, Social Distortion, Gregg Allman in that order, while Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans falls to #6. Getting the Greatest Gainer Title is Katy Perry's Teenage Dream set, rising to #7 from #13 last week.
Britney Spears is back and is showing other pop princess just how it's done, selling 411, 000 copies of Hold It Against Me and debuting right atop the Hot 100, pushing the overplayed Bruno Mars and Katy Perry tracks Grenade and Firework to #2 and #3 respectively. Avril Lavigne also returns to the Hot 100 with What The Hell debuting at #13 thanks to 168, 000 digital sales in its first week. Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts isn't heading anywhere but up, hitting an all new peak of #28. Also seeing some happy news is P!nk as F**kin' Perfect shoots up to #30.
Over on the albums chart, Cake and Cage The Elephant take #1 and #2, pushing Taylor Swift down to #3 with Speak Now while Bruno Mars falls just one spot away from the peak spot of #3 for Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Crystal Bowersox falls a couple spots down to #54 with debut album Farmer's Daughter while Lee DeWyze moves up to #122 with Live It Up.
Taylor Swift - Back To December [Music Video Premiere]
People may not be buying albums like they used to 5 years ago, but country/pop princess Taylor Swift is one of those people who can do just that. Swift recently premiered the music video for her second official single Back To December lifted from third album Speak Now which has already been certified three times platinum.
The music video is just as sombre as the song itself, and shows Swifty looking gorgeous with her new bangs and although she doesn't do much, it does show Swift growing into a woman.
We're still going into 2011 boringly, with Katy Perry taking the top spot again on the Billboard Hot 100, pushing Bruno Mars' Grenade to #2 while Ke$ha rounds out the Top 3 with We R Who We R. Rihanna and P!nk also stay intact with What's My Name? and Raise Your Glass maintaining their positions at #4 and #5 respectively. After a one spot slip last week, Taylor Swift moves up two spots to #25 this week. In an incredibly weird week, Swift has collected the Airplay Gainer title for Mine, the lead single from her Speak Now album that was released ages ago. Christina Perri's also on her way up with Jar of Hearts at #41 this week. Carrie Underwood's also not doing too shabbily, with Mama's Song sneaking back into the Top 60, moving three spots up to #60 this week. Selena Gomez & The Scene, however, are headed the other way as A Year Without Rain falls two spots to #77. Despite how utterly WRONG this is, Michael Jackson's posthumous album Michael has debuted at #3. Doing better than the American Idol Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze, fellow runner up Crystal Bowersox' Farmer's Daughter arrives at #28. Surprise, surprise. Lee DeWyze himself isn't doing TOO badly.. Live It Up has actually moved up to #119.

Country/pop star Taylor Swift was on Chelsea Lately to plug her latest album Speak Now and her upcoming world tour and talked about her performance at the AMAs as well. Genuinely quite funny stuff. And she didn't keep the straight hair! *SHOCK!* not.
No awards show is an awards show without a performance by multi-platinum selling recording artist Taylor Swift. With a stage setup similar to the performance at the CMAs, Swift played a piano against a glittery forest performing Back To December, the official second single off Speak Now. Of course, it wasn't a fantastic vocal performance, and I'm not sure if I'm liking the straight hair, but it should do its job in boosting sales for Miss Swift here. However, a major mistake she did was incorporate OneRepublic's Apologise which was way too big for her. Apologise is NOT an easy song to sing and with medicre vocals like Swift here, it was a wrong move. Surprising, but ultimately, that fell flat. Oops.

Artist Of The Month. (November 2011)
The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st!
