Kelly Clarkson's Mr. Know It All is finally seeing a small resurgence, moving up to #27 from #30 last week. Daughtry's new single Crawling Back To You makes an entrance at #41 amidst Glee's entries this week with Fix You starting off at #53, and Run The World (Girls) at #91. Bruno Mars' contribution to the Twilight movie Breaking Dawn Part 1 takes a massive tumble to #64 after it's debut at #28 last week while Colbie Caillat stays fixed at a sexually suggestive #69 with Brighter Than The Sun. This week also sees Beyonce's Party debut at #95 and Jennifer Lopez' Papi making an appearance at #96.
The tenth American Idol Scotty McCreery has broken a record for being the youngest male artist in history to debut atop the Billboard 200 Albums Chart in terms of debut albums, and the first country act to debut at #1 with their first studio album. And as usual, Adele holds strong right behind at #2.
Big News: Diana Vickers co-writes new Enrique Iglesias single!
Moments ago on Twitter, British singer Diana Vickers tweeted some exciting news - she co-wrote Enrique Iglesias' new single Mouth2Mouth featuring Jennifer Lopez!
It's a big deal considering Diana's status. The pop darling rose to fame on The X Factor, finishing fourth, before putting out her debut #1 album and single Songs From The Tainted Cherrytree and Once respectively. Unfortunately, the campaign took a beating when follow-up single The Boy Who Murdered Love fell short of the album and first single's success, stalling at #36 on the UK Singles Chart. Then back into the studio Diana went, before releasing My Wicked Heart, the first single released off a revamped version of Songs From The Tainted Cherrytree. However, despite landing a massive gig on The X Factor, the poor girl only made #13 on the UK Singles Chart. Then, the reworked album was scrapped, and Diana "parted ways" with RCA Records, which basically means she was dropped.
Cue tears.
Since then, Miss Vickers has kept herself busy, working on some new music in LA with various writers and producers to be released on an EP due out either later this year on early next year.
However, with Diana Vickers landing a songwriting cut on Enrique Iglesias' new single, will record labels start to be interested again? It's encouraging a pop artist like Diana herself is starting over again by building up her name writing for other artists. Not something you'd catch Rihanna or Selena Gomez doing. In a way, the pop industry needs people like Diana, pop artists that know what a good pop track should be about.

J.Lo may have hit the big ol' 40, but the Latina is still stopping traffic and the object of desire of many men in her new video for Papi and in real life. The video starts off with Jenny taking a bite out of a love cookie, before heading out the next day to be chased by every heterosexual male that sets eyes on her, and Jenny has the impossible task of running away from the group of guys in her white Fiat, before being dragged out of her car and having a dance breakdown with the guys.
However, I could've dealt with another high fashion, full of lens flare, exotic theme to the Papi video, but it was already utilised for the I'm Into You video. So unfortunately, Team Jenny have run out of a few ideas and pulled this one instead, which felt like a long running 5 minute commercial for Fiat than a new music video for Jennifer. Make no mistake, the video had it's entertaining moments, but it's not a great MUSIC video.

With international promotions for LOVE? well and truly in full swing, Latin diva Jennifer Lopez dropped by Alan Carr's talk show for a little chat. The interview consisted of Jenny talking about the kids, the music and Idol, as usual. Of course, JLo said the same rehearsed PR statement about not being too sure whether she would return as a judge for Season 11 of American Idol since their could be a world tour happening, promotions still under way, the Latina might not have time in her busy schedule to commit to something as big as American Idol.
But of course, the interview really came to life because of the hilarious host himself, Alan Carr. Jen also ended the show performing I'm Into You. She did it on the Capital Summertime Ball over a really, really loud backing track and she did the same here. Girl, if you're gonna lip synch, at least bring out some fierce dancing.. And it's funny how she performs her club banger On The Floor live but never sings R&B midtempo jam I'm Into You fully live.

Jennifer Lopez has experienced a massive career resurgence thanks to American Idol. But now that Season 10 is over, the Triple Threat diva finally has time to do international promotion, with a series of gigs in the UK - So You Think You Can Dance and Summertime Ball, both of which were kinda meh. On the Summertime Ball, JLo didn't sing live, well she did but her mic was turned all the way down while a loud backing track was playing while the So You Think You Can Dance performance didn't have the fireworks her Idol performance did.
However, the stunning Latina turned things around in France, performing On The Floor on The X Factor France. She sang live (or at least a majority of it) while she got the crowd jumping. It was in a similar fashion as what Cheryl Cole did on the UK Show last year performing Promise This. But of course, JLo isn't 25 anymore, and didn't really wring the dancing by the neck, but she got the crowd involved and was electrifying on stage, playing to her strengths.
Alright Jenny, promote On The Floor all across the world, but make sure you return to the States to perform I'm Into You. I'm still hungry for a great performance of that.
Oh, speaking of Jennifer, when questioned whether she was returning to Idol, she recently told BBC Radio 1′s Scott Mills, “I don’t know. I haven’t been forced to make a decision and I’m glad about that because honestly I’m very on the fence about it.”
Of course, her involvement in a revamped American Idol, to me, was a business decision and we should keep in mind the millionaire mother Lopez signed only a one-year deal with the show in October for a reported $12 million. Idol has served it's purpose for JLo, introducing her music to the younger generation who buys records, and I don't think she had very much to say on Idol when it came to giving constructive criticisms, and I don't think she should return to Idol, if only for the fact her career depends on Idol, which it doesn't. But of course she wasn't god-awful like Steven Tyler was, but it's time to move along now, Jen. And doesn't she have a LOVE? World Tour coming up?
But with an empty spot, I'm hoping Cheryl Cole will take that spot instead. There're reports that Cheryl went to Simon Fuller for advice, also known as Simon Cowell's rival in the industry. The two Simons have been at loggerheads for a long time, and if Cheryl does join the Idol panel, which Simon Fuller produces, it'd be a nice way to spite Simon. And I'm all up for giving virtual bitchslaps to Simon after he publicly humiliated the Geordie lass. But it could also be the British tabloids trying to make up some bull, which they are known to do. But I'll be waiting and I'm definitely interested to see if The X Factor US will succeed, the original UK show, now without it's core judges Simon, Cheryl and Dannii Minogue, and whether Jenny will return to Idol next year.

Adele's Turning Tables, however, has fallen to #85, but that's not all too bad considering the mournful ballad hasn't even been released as a single yet.
Adele has lodged herself another week on top the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with 21 while Britney Spears' Femme Fatale has returned to the Top 4 at #4 this week. Jessie J's Who You Are has fallen to #51 in just its third week of release. After the American Idol stint, Crystal Bowersox managed to re-enter the albums chart with Farmer's Daughter coming in at #184.
Jennifer Lopez - I'm Into You [Music Video Premiere]
Apart from Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Lopez is also gunning for another What's My Name-esque smash hit with her new single I'm Into You. I'm Into You hasn't done anything chart-wise while On The Floor storms charts worldwide, but with this music video, let's hope the song gets a boost up the charts. The video is another one of your romantic videos by the beach, and the dance break in the bridge with J. Lo dancing to Papi which totally didn't fit at all makes this video an ultimately boring one.
Don't get me wrong, Jennifer doesn't look anything but stunning as usual, but without a proper plot or storyline, I'm not entirely sure this video will help this song race up the charts. Boo to that, then.
After a performance on American Idol last week, Katy Perry's managed to come back to the top of the Hot 100, stopping the seemingly unstoppable force that is Adele's Rolling In The Deep, which skyrockets up to #2, getting the Digital Gainer Title. Bruno Mars' latest The Lazy Song flies into the Top 10 at #6 this week while Jennifer Lopez falls closely behind at #7 with On The Floor. Ke$ha's also returned to the Top 10 with Blow hitting #9 this week. Two of the planet's biggest pop stars Britney Spears and Lady Gaga have both been ousted of the Top 10, with Britney's Till The World Ends and Gaga's Judas falling to #11 and #12 respectively. There she goes again. Taking her time up the chart is Jessie J as Price Tag moves up one spot to #23 this week. Selena Gomez has vaulted back into the Top 30 with Who Says hitting one spot away from its' peak position of #24 so far. Beyonce's new single Girls has sneaked its way into the Hot 100, entering at #33. Adele's gorgeous Turning Tables has finally made its way into the Hot 100 at #63 while Glee's covered version debuts at #66, along with another track they covered last week on the show, All By Myself at #87. OneRepublic close in on the Top 80 as Good Life sits 2 places outside at #92. Colbie Caillat refuses to budge with I Do at #97 while Jennifer Lopez' new promo single Papi debuts at #99.
Getting the Greatest Gainer title is Adele over on the albums chart as #21 remains at #1. I think this could really be the album that will launch her to a bona fide superstar. Glee's new unnecessary album of The Warblers debuts at #2 while Britney slides back into the Top 5 as Femme Fatale rises a spot to #5. Jennifer Hudson's new album I Remember Me is sliding down the chart quickly as Hudson falls to #39 only in its fifth week out. Jessie J is heading the other way on the albums chart, with Who You Are plummeting to #42 in its second week of release. Miranda Cosgrove makes a reappearance on the chart at #134 this week with High Maintainence.
Rihanna goes on to collect a record-breaking 10 #1s on the Hot 100 with S&M featuring Britney Spears seeing a humongous amount in digital downloads to get the Digital Gainer title and overtake Katy Perry's E.T., which has dropped to #2, to take top spot. Adele shoots up the chart once again with Rolling In The Deep making a new peak at #6. Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and Lady Gaga round out the Top 10 with On The Floor moving a spot up to #8, while the Britster falls a spot to #9 and Gaga makes a chart debut at #10 with Judas. Bruno Mars' latest chart assault The Lazy Song narrowly misses the Top 10 but gains a new peak of #11. Jessie J's Price Tag is turning out to be a mega hit for the British songbird as it hits an all time high of #24. Jennifer Hudson falls to #88 with Where You At. Colbie Caillat's I Do has managed to re-enter the Hot 100 sneaking in at #97 while OneRepublic are at #98 with Good Life.
The Foo Fighters are everywhere, this time getting their first #1 album in the States with Wasting Light, while pushing Adele's 21 to #2. Britney's Femme Fatale takes a slip to #6. Jessie J's Who You Are isn't doing too badly, debuting at #11 on the chart.

Artist Of The Month. (November 2011)
The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st!
