Things have been pretty quiet for Miss Hudgens here, now that High School Musical is done and she's no longer affiliated with Hollywood Records after releasing 2 albums with them - V and Identified. With the nude photos and everything, her squeaky clean image has been somewhat tarnished, but who cares now. She finished a new film called Bandslam and was praised for her performance in the show. She is currently filming Sucker Punch, a film in which will be released in 2011.
Threats: Ashley Tisdale, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus
Here I have gathered some of Disney's Pop Princesses tracks from their various albums/soundtracks. This comprehensive list of "The Essentials" features Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Emily Osment.
Everything I Own was covered by Disney teen pop star Vanessa Hudgens for her latest project, Bandslam. I think the first few verses were a bit too low for her, out of her comfort zone, and to the end it got a bit shrieky and she DOES NOT have a powerful voice, I think she's trying way too hard. Nevertheless, give it a good listen and tell me what you think.
Vanessa Hudgens - Everything I Own [Music Video Premiere]
Here's the official music video from Vanessa's latest project, Bandslam. She contributed to the soundtrack doing this song in the movie Everything I Own. I felt the first few verses were too low for her and out of her comfort zone where her voice shines through. This failed to make an impact on me. But you definitely must tell me what you think!
Track Listing: 1. Last Night 2. Identified 3. First Bad Habit 4. Hook It Up 5. Don't Ask Why 6. Sneakernight 7. Amazed 8. Don't Leave 9. Paper Cut 10. Party On The Moon 11. Did It Ever Cross Your Mind 12. Gone With The Wind
Vanessa Hudgens' second album Identified didn't really impress me. On the cover, she looks a little baby face and distorted, and most of the tracks are rather forgettable. Even the album's lead single Sneakernight is only okay. Another teensy tune that only Vanessa's hardcore fans will love. It's all a bit boring, really. It's nothing like her debut album V, which I happen to prefer by a mile, this is an average album that's absolutely boring and none of the melodies stick to your head except Sneakernight. If you want a teensy album worth the money, go get yourself Ashley Tisdale's Headstrong or Guilty Pleasure.
Track Listing: 1. Come Back To Me 2. Let Go 3. Say OK 4. Never Underestimate A Girl 5. Let´s Dance 6. Drive 7. Afraid 8. Promise 9. Whatever Will Be 10. Rather Be With You 11. Psychic 12. Lose Your Love
I must say Vanessa's debut album V, was better than I thought. The colour theme was very nice and she looked gorgeous in almost all the pictures. Come Back To Me was the album's lead single. A groovy, fun to dance to song that I felt was a little teensy for me. Say OK, the next single from the album, was better too, and the music video even featured her boyfriend Zac Efron. Almost all the tracks on the album dance anthems, but some slow songs like Drive and Whatever Will Be were really good too. Let's Dance speaks for itself and will definitely get you moving. Overall, it's a fairly okay album which in my opinion was better than her second album Identified.
High School Musical 2 - High School Musical 2 Soundtrack (Album Review)
Track Listing: 1. What Time Is It 2. Fabulous 3. Work This Out 4. You Are The Music In Me 5. I Don't Dance 6. You Are The Music In Me (Sharpay Version) 7. Gotta Go My Own Way 8. Bet On It 9. Everyday 10. All For One 11. Humuhumunukunukuapua'a
The highly successful telemovie, High School Musical has spun-off a sequel. And all the songs on the soundtrack are definitely fun to groove along to. It's very teensy and great for summer. All the tracks have a catchy tune and I think lots of teens will go crazy over it. It's just a fun soundtrack, a kid version of Mamma Mia soundtrack. Not the best album I've heard, but will get people up and dancing and singing along to it.
We review the latest in 21st century. Mostly we do pop, but it doesn't really matter, along with new music premieres, video premieres, album premieres. If the links don't work, please notify me in the cbox right below and I will post a new link in the cbox. Thanks.
Artist Of The Month. (November 2011)
The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st!
