Lady Gaga is still #1 on the Hot 100 with Born This Way, but surprise surprise. It's not Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Rihanna, P!nk, or Britney Spears snapping at her heels. It's Cee Lo Green with his mega hit single F**k You! skyrocketing to a shocking #2 with an Airplay Gainer title. Rihanna's latest single S&M continues to move up, moving on to a new peak of #7 this week. Justin Bieber collects his second Top 10 hit after his Top 5 hit Baby with Never Say Never moving up to #8, thanks to his movie of course. Britney Spears continues slipping with Hold It Against Me falling to #11. Notice how the music video didn't help the song rise after gradually falling. Avril Lavigne's What the Hell has also slipped a little, falling to #13 after hitting a peak of #11 last week. However, Christina Perri's going anywhere but down, flying up to a new peak of #21 with Jar of Hearts. Dang. What has that girl been doing? Adele's chart domination continues with Rolling In The Deep leaping to #26 this week. This week's album week. Expect Rolling In The Deep to fly even higher up next week. Katy Perry's fourth single E.T. which features the irrelevant verses from Kanye West has crashed the Billboard Hot 100 at #28 this week. Well, it's re-entered. It was released as a promo single prior the release of Teenage Dream last year. Ke$ha's also on her way up with current single Blow reaching #32 this week. Another week, another Glee episode. Last week's songs have reached the Hot 100 with Baby, Sing, Take Me Or Leave Me, Somebody To Love debuting at #47, #49, #51, #62 respectively while their previous cover of Forget You re-enters at #90 and Firework slips to #95. With little to no promotion, Colbie Caillat's new single I Do has fallen to #96. Thanks to the powers of VEVO and YouTube, Jessie J's still on the Hot 100, with Price Tag rising a spot to #99 this week. Get promoting, girl.
Over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, Justin Bieber's Never Say Never: The Remixes bows at #1, this being his second #1 album. The rest? Nothing interesting to note, really.
No surprises there, Lady Gaga has nabbed the top spot on the Hot 100 with Born This Way, becoming the 1000th song to ever top the chart. Thanks to the amazing talent that is Lea Michele covering Firework on Glee, the Katy Perry original has moved up a spot to #2 while P!nk's F**kin' Perfect falls a spot but gets the Digital Gainer Title standing at #5 this week. The Digital Gainer Title goes to Rihanna, flying up to #8 up from #31 while the Black Eyed Peas see a resurgence for The Time (Dirty Bit) thanks to their performance at the Superbowl. Interestingly, their covers last week Thriller/Heads Will Roll, Bills, Bills, Bills and Need You Now have flown up to a new peak of #38, #44 and #62 from their debut at #75, #79 and #72 respectively last week. Even more interestingly, She's Not There failed to chart last week but has arrived at #87 this week. Also flying up the charts is Adele with Rolling In The Deep hitting a new peak of #41 so far. Adele's also gaining some steam over on the albums chart, with debut album 19 hitting #68 up from #88.
Justin Bieber - Somebody To Love/Baby on The X Factor
Tween pop megastar Justin Bieber was on The X Factor to perform a medley of his biggest recent hits Baby and Somebody To Love. The teen lipsynched his way to a performance we've seen a gazillion times before and flirted with Cheryl Cole after his performance. Eeyuck. Fame has gotten to his head. Cheryl Cole's way out of his league, just that The X Factor judge is too nice to say so. Someone needs a rude awakening.. Am I being overly negative? Perhaps. But the boy needs to deflate his ego before it becomes like Kanye's.
Katy Perry's Teenage Dream has been knocked off the top spot, falling to #4 this week while Bruno Mars conquers the Hot 100 with his debut single Just The Way You Are. Making a ginormous leap into the Top 3 is Rihanna with Only Girl (In The World) flying up from #75 to #3. Sitting rather unsteadily right at the bottom, the Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack dips to #200 although it's been released for quite awhile now.
Katy Perry takes over the Hot 100 with her new summer jam California Gurls featuring Snoop Dogg, not surprising since a) she's Katy Perry b) California Gurls is a summer song (read: will never sound dated). Of course, he's ready to move on with a new single. Ryan Seacrest premiered a new mix for Justin Bieber's Somebody To Love, which features reigning Hot 100 #1 artist Usher. Smart. Enjoy!

Big News: Jason DeRulo nabs "Best Album of March"!
Pop/R&B star Jason DeRulo has certainly proven himself to be a major player in the music industry, nabbing chart-topping hits Whatcha Say and In My Head all over the world. DeRulo is getting ready to release his third single Ridin' Solo tomorrow in the US and on the 31st in the UK. Getting Best Album of March means he beat R&B veteran Usher, country newcomer Danny Gokey, UK pop sensation Ellie Goulding, and teen pop/R&B sensation Justin Bieber.
By the way, April had too few notable releases for the poll for Best Album of April and thus I'll be combining it with May's releases like what I did in January and February. The poll for Best Album of April/May will be available at the start of June.
B.o.B. tops the Hot 100 with Nothin' On You for the second consecutive week and Rihanna's Rude Boy is entrenched at #2. Carrie Underwood's ACM wins and American Idol performance also helped fuel her latest album Play On to fly up to #21.
Rihanna's reign at #1 with Rude Boy ends this week, dethroned by B.o.B.'s Nothin' On You, while Rude Boy has slipped to #2. Ke$ha collects her third straight Top 10 hit after previous singles like TiK ToK topped the charts and Blah Blah Blah peaked at #7. Your Love Is My Drug flies up 10 spots to reach an all-new peak of #9. After mentoring and performing on American Idol, Adam Lambert's Whataya Want From Me makes his highest charting song so far, rounding out the Top 10 thanks to digital sales gains. Not surprising, Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug just keeps flying up the Hot 100. Your Love Is My Drug shoots to #19 up from #32 the previous week. Lady Gaga manages to hold on at #5 on the Hot 100 with Telephone. Jason DeRulo's In My Head returns to the Top 10, returning to #9 this week. Miley Cyrus' mentor and guest performer appearance on American Idol has done wonders for her as When I Look At You is still moving up very quickly, peaking at #16 this week. Ke$ha looks like she's on her way to her third hit, as Your Love Is My Drug shoots to #32, up from #57. Alejandro is confirmed to be Lady Gaga's third single from The Fame Monster and this is should come as absolutely no surprise as it debuts at #72 with close to zero promotion. Timbaland and Katy Perry's If We Ever Meet Again is proving to be a hit, leaping up to #74. After Colbie Caillat's I Never Told You saw its music video release, it has been moving up the charts and moves up 2 spots and standing at #97 this week.

Artist Of The Month. (November 2011)
The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st!
