Big News: 3 artists to be Augusts' Artist of the Month!
We're already halfway into July and you can expect August to come soon. Instead of putting up a poll where you guys vote for the following month's Artist of the Month, I'll have 3 artists to be August's AOTM all at the same time. First up is R&B/Soul singer Fantasia, who releases Back To Me on 24th of August. Along with Fantasia, Katy Perry and Jessie James will also be featured. All 3 artists will release their respective albums on the same date. Katy's is Teenage Dream and Jessie James' is Daughter of a Gypsy.
Big News: Miley Cyrus & Christina Aguilera to be June's Artists of the Month!
Two artists mainly Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera will be June's Artists of The Month. Christina Aguilera will be appearing as the first Artist Of The Month as her upcoming release Bionic will be available on the 8th of June and thus will be June's Artist of The Month for the first half of the month and followed by teen sensation Miley Cyrus who will be releasing her new album Can't Be Tamed on the 22nd of June and will thus be featured in the second half of the month.

Big News: We Are The Fallen - Artist of The Month for May!
As I've mentioned earlier, We Are The Fallen, a new rock band fronted by Irish lead singer Carly Smithson will be May's Artist of the Month. Their debut album Tear The World Down arrives May 10th in the UK and 11th in the US. Their debut single Bury Me Alive is available on iTunes and Amazon now. Big News: We Are The Fallen to be May's Artist of The Month
There's no major release in May besides rock band We Are The Fallen who will be releasing their debut album Tear the World Down on the 10th and 11th of May in the UK and the US respectively. Thus, I have chosen them to be May's Artist Of The Month, that is, until many artists announce a May album release at the eleventh hour, which isn't likely to happen. Their debut single Bury Me Alive is out now and if you haven't seen the album cover for Tear The World Down yet, here it is.
Big News: Jason Castro's April's Artist Of The Month
I didn't set up a poll for you guys to choose April's Artist Of The Month because there's really nothing much going on in April. Thus I've chosen folk/pop singer Jason Castro who will be releasing his debut self-titled full-length album on the 13th of April.
Big News: Artist of the Month - Jason DeRulo! March 2010
I first decided for Artist of the Month of March to be Emily Osment but it will instead by Jason DeRulo, who has hit the top of the charts all across the world. His self-titled debut album is in stores now. Go get it!
Things are always slow in the music business this time of the year so Artist Of The Month is pretty difficult. I'm sure things will get better for April though. With hardly any album releases in March now, the only one that's notable is the still untitled debut album by Emily Osment that's tentatively set for a March 9th release. So, you can expect Emily Osment to be March's Artist Of The Month, that is unless new album release dates drop by.
Katharine McPhee releases her sophomore record Unbroken next year, which features AC Top 30 hit Had It All. Katharine beat newcomer Ke$ha, who just went to #1 on the Hot 100 and girl group Paradiso Girls to become January's Artist Of The Month.

It's that time of the month where it's time to vote for the next Artist Of The Month again. For January next year, it's a bit boring, I must say. Running for January's Artist Of The Month is American Idol Season 5 runner-up who released her self-titled debut album in 2007, acted in The House Bunny last year and of course, most importantly, will be releasing her sophomore album Unbroken on the 5th of January next year. Releasing her debut album on the same day is Ke$ha, who recently went to #1 with her debut single TiK ToK, set to follow in the footsteps of Lady Gaga with Animal released. Next up is girl group Pardiso Girls, set to release their debut album Crazy Horse next January, although there isn't a release date set yet. Their debut single Patron Tequila reached #3 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. So.. Start voting now!
PS. I could have included Pixie Lott's Turn It Up and Esmee Denters' Outta Here but those have been released elsewhere in the world much earlier so their albums are therefore not eligible.
The artist of the month for December (as voted by you guys) is the red-headed rocker from this season's American Idol Allison Iraheta. With Adam Lambert and Kris Allen having so much hype around them, we've forgotten how great Allison is. Her debut album, single, and music video have all been praisedby critics, good news for her. With promo for her album starting this week, Allison's sure to pick up on airplay and the charts. She beat Alicia Keys, Timbaland and Chris Brown to become Artist Of The Month for December!

Big News: Poll for Artist Of The Month for December 2009 is up!
Located at the sidebar is the poll for December's Artist Of The Month. Running for next month's Artist Of The Month is Grammy award-winning R&B/Soul singer Alicia Keys set to release her newest studio album The Element Of Freedom December 15th. Next up is American Idol Season 8's red-headed rocker Allison Iraheta who's releasing her much anticipated debut album Just Like You December 1st. Chris Brown releases his 'comeback' album Grafitti December 8th, along with hitmaker Timbaland who releases his follow-up album to his highly successful Shock Value back in 2007, simply called Shock Value 2. Artist Of The Month for November '09: Adam Lambert
Great job Adam fans, the artist of the month of Nobember 2009 is Adam Lambert. He won by quite a margin compared to the others. He's set to release For Your Entertainment, which the first single is confirmed to be the title track.
Here's the new poll for Artist Of The Month for November this year. Running for Artist Of The Month are Carrie Underwood who's set to release her third studio album Play On on the 3rd of November. X Factor winner Leona Lewis is also running for Artist Of The Month as she's releasing Echo on the 16th of November. One day later, Kris Allen and Justin Bieber release their debut albums and American Idol's wildest contestant Adam Lambert releases his album on the 24th of November. Remember to start voting!
Our featured Artist Of The Month for October is Cheryl Cole. Set to release her debut album as a solo artist, Three Words will be released in the UK later this month. Her first single Fight For This Love is really quite nice.
R&B diva Mariah Carey released her lead single of her 12th studio album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, which peaked at #11 so far. She won in our Artist Of The Month poll for September this year, up against the likes of Nelly Futardo, Madonna etc. Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel is set to be released on the 29th of September.

Big News: Artist Of The Month September '09 is up!
We have the new poll for September of 09 up and the contenders are Mariah Carey, who's set to release Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel on September 15th, the same as Nelly Furtardo, who will be releassing her first full-length Spanish album Mi Plan. On the 11th and 14th, Jay-Z and The Muse will be releasing their albums respectively. Mika releases his second album on the 21st of September, and lastly, Paramore releases their album on September 29th, the same day Madonna releses Celebration.
Colbie Caillat's officially our new Artist Of The Month. Her new album for 2009 Breakthrough will be in stores in August. Now, although Mariah Carey did garner the highest votes, her 12th studio album will be delayed by 3 weeks and released on the 15th of September, that's where she'll be running for Artist Of The Month again. Nevertheless, Colbie's great.

Artist Of The Month. (November 2011)
The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st!
