While Avril Lavigne was rocking to her new single What The Hell at Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve, David Archuleta was jamming to two songs from his latest sophomore pop album The Other Side of Down which saw the youngster brave the cold and deliver two energetic performances of the title track and Elevator which you can check above and below respectively. Rihanna's Only Girl (In The World) has been pushed down a spot to #4. P!nk continues to cling on to #10 with latest single Raise Your Glass. Far East Movement's Like A G6 stays at #1 this week on the Hot 100. It's an easy #1 for the group since there isn't much music out right now. Still, Just The Way You Are, Bruno Mars former #1 remains at #2 for a second consecutive week. Rihanna's Only Girl (In The World) is back at its peak of #3, moving up a spot from last week. P!nk's latest single Raise Your Glass continues to move up strongly, crashing the Top 10 at #10, getting the Airplay Gainer title. Taylor Swift's latest promo single Mean falls just short of the Top 10, debuting at #11, making it her first promo single lifted from Speak Now to not debut in the Top 10. Meanwhile, the official lead single Mine has risen a spot to #13; previous promo single Back To December drops to #30; while first promo single and title track Speak Now falls to #86. Shakira's latest single Loca makes a gigantic leap to #32 up from #84. Daughtry's latest single September has been slowly dropping down the Hot 100 lately, but the song has rebounded back up to hit a new peak of #36 this week. Sara Bareilles' King of Anything has been bouncing up and down the chart, and this week, Bareilles has managed to move up to #37 up from #42. Katy Perry's latest single Firework has found its way on the Hot 100, making a splash at #57 this week, and it's set to move up next week thanks to release of the music video. Available on the Hannah Montana Forever soundtrack, Gonna Get This featuring Iyaz has made a debut at #66. Carrie Underwood's latest single Mama Song makes a move up to a new peak of #68. Rihanna, if you don't collect a #1 with Only Girl (In The World), resassured, because What's My Name looks set to be another hit as the track featuring Drake debuts at #83. Country group Sugarland top the Billboard 200 Albumms Chart this week, with 3 more debuts in a string below - Kings of Leon's Come Around Sundown, Elton John/Leon Russel The Union, Rod Stewart's Fly Me To The Moon The Great American Songbook. David Archuleta - Elevator live @ Wendy Williams Show
This is raw talent you just can't manufacture. I've no idea how he can sound so good all the time. Nevertheless, David Archuleta dropped by Wendy Williams Show and performed his latest single Elevator lifted off his latest album The Other Side of Down. After the brilliant performance, he chatted with Wendy Williams Show and he is, after all, a goofy teenager underneath and made the blunder of the Idol judges. Hilarious. Watch the girls scream their heart out for him. Side note: His album The Other Side of Down is predicted to sell only a meagre 22 to 25, 000 copies in its first week. Disappointing. But let's change that. So, while you're reading this, go up and get October's Artist of the Month's album now! David Archuleta new track: Something About Love
 David Archuleta was up against David Cook on the Season Finale of American Idol Season 7 and even though he ultimately lost, his debut single post-Idol Crush was a humongous hit all around the world and his debut album has already shifted past 900, 000 copies in the States. He then made his first Christmas album and that sold about 200, 000 copies and he's back and ready to make an impact on the scene again. This song Something About Love serves as the lead single to his follow-up album and I don't this song will reach the colossal heights of Crush, and in fact, it's a little middle of the road but I'm sure Archie fans will snap this up. The top 3 on the Hot 100 last week still remain at their positions from last week, and it seems Jay-Z and Alicia Keys are still stopping Lady Gaga or Ke$ha from taking top spot. Kelly Clarkson climbs again with Already Gone steeping up one spot up from last week standing at #14 this week. German trio Cascada climbs and peaks with Evacuate The Dancefloor at #25 this week. After Kris Allen's Live Like We're Dying fell to #47 last week, it has bounced back up to #44 this week. Daughtry debuts on the Hot 100 with their second single Life After You at #66. Nick Jonas' solo venture has debuted on the Hot 100 with Who I Am debuting at #73. Susan Boyle secures a second week at #1 with I Dreamed A Dream topping the Billboard 200 albums chart, with Andrea Bocelli's My Christmas trailing closely behind. Carrie Underwood's third studio album has climbed up the charts to #6 this week, up 3 spots from last week. American Idol alums David Archuleta's Christmas From The Heart and Allison Iraheta's Just Like You are placed at #34 and #35 respectively, with Allison's debut posting a disappointing 30, 000 + copies sold in its first week, with the first single Friday I'll Be Over U not doing very well. Owl City's Fireflies climbs back up to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week, dethroning Jason DeRulo's Whatcha Say which is #3 this week, while Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' collaboration on Empire State Of Mind climbs to #2. Rihanna's latest single Russian Roulette makes a staggering jump to #9 from #75 last week, with Beyonce's Sweet Dreams just behind at a peak position of #10 achieved a few weeks ago. Looks like Lady Gaga has failed to nab herself another #1 with Bad Romance dropping to #18. Kelly Clarkson's Already Gone regains momentum as in climbs back into the top 20, at #19 this week. Carrie Underwood's latest single Cowboy Casanova too regains momentum, climbing to #21 from #27 last week. Despite many people believing Chris Brown's latest single would flop badly with his reputation somewhat destroyed after his attack on Rihanna but I Can Transform Ya' has climbed one more spot up on the charts, standing at #23 this week. Justin Bieber's One Time climbs to #24 and the latest single Favourite Girl debuting at #26, falling just behind Colbie Caillat's Fallin' For You at #25. With the huge success of Down, Jay Sean's latest single debuts at #27 this week with Do You Remember. Cascada's Evacuate The Dancefloor has taken some time to climb the charts but is at it's current peak of #28, knocking Mariah Carey's Obsessed into #29 this week. Taylor Swift peaks at #38 with Fifteen and Jump Then Fall dropping to #41 this week. Leona Lewis' newest single Happy finally jumps up the charts, this week by 30 spots to #68. The Power Rangers of British pop, The Saturdays, are returning this year with a more mature sound and image, with the girlband taking a stab at the pop/dance wave with their fourth album On Your Radar's first single Notorious being a total flip in direction in their sound, and was noticeably more clubby compared to their previous singles and albums. They then took things a level further with the complete rave-tastic All Fired Up, which is without a doubt their best single release, not surprising since the track was produced by production powerhouse Xenomania, the machine behind pretty much all of Girls Aloud's discography. The pop five-piece are charging forward with the Christmassy ballad My Heart Takes Over before their album On Your Radar drops November 21st! Featured Albums.
