Billboard Update

The top 2 on the Hot 100 stay intact, with Cee Lo Green's Forget You closely behind Lady Gaga's Born This Way, which tops the Hot 100 for a 4th consecutive week. Rihanna's just creeping into the Top 3 with S&M. Another #1 for her? I think so, yes. Jennifer Lopez is doing incredible for herself right now, with On The Floor zipping up to the Top 5, only lagging behind P!nk's F**kin" Perfect. Rushing into the Top 10 is Ke$ha, whose latest single Blow peaks at an all-time high of #7 this week. Shooting up the chart as well is Jar of Hearts, the breakout hit from Christina Perri which peaks at #17 this week. Adele, however, falls to #18 with Rolling In The Deep. Britney Spears' new single Till The World Ends debuts at the rim of the Top 20. Is it just me, or is this Katy Perry's California Gurls and Teenage Dream all over again? Especially with the latter and Till The World Ends debuting at #20 while the albums' lead singles were all at higher positions on the chart. Slipping just a spot to #23 is Avril Lavigne's What The Hell while Jessie J gains some traction on the Hot 100, with Price Tag jumping to #78 this week.

Adele's 21 continues to top the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week. Exactly what made this happen, I'm not sure, but the soundtrack for Burlesque has leaped more than a 100 spots up, hitting a new peak of #18 this week from #140 last week, getting the Greatest Gainer title.

Billboard Update

Lady Gaga continues to dominate the Hot 100 with Born This Way holding the #1 spot for a third consecutive, with Cee Lo Green refusing to let go as F**k You! gets the Airplay Gainer Title again for the second week in a row at #2. Some risers this week include P!nk's F**kin' Perfect and Rihanna's S&M, moving up to #4 and #5 this week, with S&M reaching a new peak this week. Katy Perry gets the Digital Gainer Title with new single E.T. featuring Kanye West rocketing up to #8. I wouldn't be surprised if this one hits #1 as well. Jennifer Lopez has finally gotten hit she's worked so hard for with On The Floor featuring Pitbull debuting at #9 this week. Also moving up the Hot 100 rapidly is Ke$ha and Adele - two artists on opposite spectrums of pop music, but nonetheless, both of their latest singles Blow and Rolling In The Deep respectively flying up to new peaks of #11 and #13 respectively. Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts continues going strong - remaining at its peak of #21 while Avril Lavigne slips to #22 with What The Hell. Glee's Hot 100 invasion this week starts with Don't You Want Me debuting at #49, with the other tracks Blame It (On The Alcohol), Tik Tok following suit, debuting at #55, #61 respectively. Adele's so-gorgeous-it's-impossible-not-to-fall-in-love-with-it ballad Someone Like You debuts at #65 this week, while another album track Set Fire To The Rain arrives at #88. Thanks to the almighty powers of VEVO and YouTube, Jessie J still hasn't disappeared from the Hot 100 yet, with Price Tag lingering around at #93 after a slip to #99 last week.

Over on the album's chart, there's nothing interesting to take note of except for the fact that Adele's landed her first US #1 album - with 21 shifting an impressive 352, 000 copies in its first week - while 19 gets the Greatest Gainer Title, flying up to #16 from #50.

No surprises there, Lady Gaga has nabbed the top spot on the Hot 100 with Born This Way, becoming the 1000th song to ever top the chart. Thanks to the amazing talent that is Lea Michele covering Firework on Glee, the Katy Perry original has moved up a spot to #2 while P!nk's F**kin' Perfect falls a spot but gets the Digital Gainer Title standing at #5 this week. The Digital Gainer Title goes to Rihanna, flying up to #8 up from #31 while the Black Eyed Peas see a resurgence for The Time (Dirty Bit) thanks to their performance at the Superbowl. Britney Spears rounds out the Top 10 of the Hot 100 this week at #10. Snapping right behind her heels is Avril Lavigne, whose What The Hell has skyrocketed to a new peak of #11 from #23 last week. Colbie Caillat's new single I Do arrives at the Hot 100 at #23. Glee's covers have crashed the Hot 100 again with Firework, Silly Love Songs, When I Get You Alone, Fat Bottomed Girls and P.Y.T. Interestingly, their covers last week Thriller/Heads Will Roll, Bills, Bills, Bills and Need You Now have flown up to a new peak of #38, #44 and #62 from their debut at #75, #79 and #72 respectively last week. NOW37 has hit the top of the Billboard 200 Albums Chart this week, while Mumford & Sons and Justin Bieber have gained some traction pre-Grammys. Expect a big sales boost after the Grammys next week. Adele's also gaining some steam over on the albums chart, with debut album 19 hitting #68 up from #88.

Wiz Khalifa's Black And Yellow has taken over the Hot 100, and thus shoves Bruno Mars' Grenade down to #2, and trailed behind by Katy Perry's Firework and P!nk's F**kin' Perfect at #3 and #4 respectively. Unfortunately, Britney continues to slip down, rounding out the Top 10 with Hold It Against Me. No fear, her music video premieres soon.. Moving up a spot is Avril Lavigne with What The Hell rising to #22 this week. Moving rapidly up the charts (despite getting lots of flack for its music video) is Rihanna and S&M flying up the charts to a new peak of #31 this week with the Digital Gainer Title. Also rising is Adele and Rolling In The Deep, peaking at #64 this week, alongside Ke$ha whose latest single has moved up to #66. The Glee Cast are back on the Hot 100, debuting at #72, #75, #79 with Need You Now, Thriller/Heads Will Roll, Bills, Bills, Bills. Bruno Mars is still on top the Hot 100 with Grenade at #1 for a second consecutive week, meanwhile stopping P!nk in her tracks as F**kin' Perfect settles for #2, getting the Digital Gainer title. Meanwhile, Britney Spears' Hold It Against Me slips another 2 spots to #8 despite getting the Airplay Gainer title. On the way up is Taylor Swift with Back To December hitting #18 up from #22 last week. Also on her way up is Christina Perri, with Jar of Hearts dancing higher and higher to reach an all time high of #22. After a rather steep fall downwards last week, Avril Lavigne's What The Hell regains some steam to re-enter the Top 25 at #24 this week. Two ladies with rising singles are Rihanna with S&M and Adele with Rolling In The Deep moving up to #66 and #69 respectively. Ke$ha's latest single Blow re-enters the Hot 100 at #96 this week, making a new peak at the same time.

Billboard Update

After Britney Spears breifly dethroned Bruno Mars' Grenade with Hold It Against Me, Mars has returned to #1 while Britney falls to #6 which gains the Airplay Gainer Title. The rest of the Hot 100 is exactly where you'd expect them to be, with Katy Perry's Firework at #2, Enrique Iglesias' guilty pleasure of a track Tonight (I'm Lovin' You) rising up to #4. Gaining some serious momentum is P!nk's F**kin' Perfect which manages to hit a new peak of #11 thanks to digital downloads. Taylor Swift also moves up with Back To December hitting #22 this week. Going from strength to strength is Christina Perri, who's Jar of Hearts has flown to a new peak of #26. Suffering a huge slip is Avril Lavigne, whose What The Hell has fallen to #31. No worries, Lavigne's music video premiered last week so you can expect it to go up on this week's chart. Adele's Rolling In The Deep is also pushing its way up the charts, hitting #84 this week. Rihanna's latest single S&M has re-entered at #90 this week.

Over on the albums chart, the entire Top 5 is filled with new releases with The Decemberists at #1, looking down at Kidz Bop Kids, The Script, Social Distortion, Gregg Allman in that order, while Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans falls to #6. Getting the Greatest Gainer Title is Katy Perry's Teenage Dream set, rising to #7 from #13 last week.

P!nk - F**kin' Perfect [Music Video Premiere]

Pop singer P!nk is on of her empowerment stuff which have been taking over her subject matter mostly in recent single Raise Your Glass and in this new one called F**kin' Perfect. Granted, the song's quite the tune, and she does look great. However, the music video was a little uncomfortable to watch at points where it got to the protagonist of the video cutting herself and that sex scene at the start. What in the world were the directors thinking? Weird. At least the song's good. About ten times better than Raise Your Glass.

Big News: P!nk releases F**kin' Perfect music video snippet!

A clip of American pop/rock superstar P!nk's upcoming music video for second single F**kin' Perfect has made its way online and it looks set to be a sweet video. It's not something entirely extraordinary but P!nk these days has been less rockstar-ish, more popstar-ish. Still, F**kin' Perfect is still quite a tune and is undeniably P!nk.

Billboard Update

We're still going into 2011 boringly, with Katy Perry taking the top spot again on the Billboard Hot 100, pushing Bruno Mars' Grenade to #2 while Ke$ha rounds out the Top 3 with We R Who We R. Rihanna and P!nk also stay intact with What's My Name? and Raise Your Glass maintaining their positions at #4 and #5 respectively. After a one spot slip last week, Taylor Swift moves up two spots to #25 this week. In an incredibly weird week, Swift has collected the Airplay Gainer title for Mine, the lead single from her Speak Now album that was released ages ago. Christina Perri's also on her way up with Jar of Hearts at #41 this week. Carrie Underwood's also not doing too shabbily, with Mama's Song sneaking back into the Top 60, moving three spots up to #60 this week. Selena Gomez & The Scene, however, are headed the other way as A Year Without Rain falls two spots to #77. The Glee effect still isn't wearing off for Bruno Mars yet, as Marry You moves up to a new peak of #85. It's kinda obvious this might be the third single..

Over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, Taylor Swift reigns at #1 while Eminem and Rihanna leap back into the Top 3 with Eminem's Recovery and Rihanna's Loud at #2 and #3 respectively. Bruno Mars has also skyrocketed back into the Top 10, flying from #20 last week to #7. Ke$ha's also seeing good signs with Cannibal jumping exactly 20 spots to #19 this week. Poor Susan Boyle though, after battling with Taylor Swift the past couple weeks, The Gift has fallen hard, dropping to a disappointing #31 after coming in second last week. Crystal Bowersox is also falling, with Farmer's Daughter placing #62 this week. Still, she's still doing better than eventual American Idol winner Lee DeWyze whose post-Idol debut Live It Up is at #170 this week.

Billboard Update

Katy Perry's Firework remains at the top of the Hot 100 while getting the Airplay Gainer title. Expectedly, Bruno Mars is trailing right behind with Grenade hitting a new peak of #2. Taylor Swift's also on the move up with Back To December rising to #26 this week. Also moving up is Christina Perri with Jar of Hearts inching closer and closer to its peak of #34 at #46 this week. She must be doing something right.. P!nk's new single F**kin' Perfect has made its debut at #86 this week. Glee's Baby, It's Cold Outside falls to #99 this week while Mariah Carey's Oh Santa! has finally arrived at #100. Let's hope it doesn't just debut and disappear like Up Out My Face..

Taylor Swift's Speak Now has taken over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart after Susan Boyle's reign on top with The Gift for a couple of weeks. Despite how utterly WRONG this is, Michael Jackson's posthumous album Michael has debuted at #3. Doing better than the American Idol Season 9 winner Lee DeWyze, fellow runner up Crystal Bowersox' Farmer's Daughter arrives at #28. Surprise, surprise. Lee DeWyze himself isn't doing TOO badly.. Live It Up has actually moved up to #119.

Billboard Update

Katy Perry spends her second consecutive week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with Firework, pushing pop rival Rihanna away who's track What's My Name has rebounded to #2. Rocketing up to #3 is Bruno Mars with Grenade. You can pretty much expect Grenade to hit #1 in a couple weeks, if not next week. Slipping two spots is P!nk with Raise Your Glass which falls to #4 this week. Don't worry, she's another track coming out called F**kin' Perfect. Ke$ha bounces back up to #5 with We R Who We R after the music video of said track premiered. Refusing to budge is Rihanna and Bruno Mars' Only Girl (In The World) and Just The Way You Are at #6 and #7 respectively. Taylor Swift remains unstoppable, with Back To December heading up the charts, hitting #34 this week. Christina Perri's doing something right as Jar or Hearts is slowly getting closer to its original peak of #34, hitting #49 this week. After a couple weeks of heading the wrong direction, Carrie Underwood's Mama's Song has finally moved upwards to a new peak of #56. Then there's the unstoppable Glee Cast, with a slew of debuts after that Christmas episode. Baby It's Cold Outside and Welcome Christmas debut at #57 and #59 while Forget You spends a fourth week on the chart at #92. Gwyneth Paltrow must be doing something right. After falling all the way to the bottom of the Hot 100 last week, Shakira's Loca has bounced up 10 spots to #90.

Over on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart, Susan Boyle reigns Queen as The Gift lodges yet another week at the top spot. Taylor Swift's Speak Now trails behind Susan Boyle at #2 while Glee's Christmas Album takes the title of Greatest Gainer and hits a new peak of #3. Well at least this week's fall wasn't too drastic, Lee DeWyze' post-Idol debut album Live It Up falls ten spots to #133.

Billboard Update

Rihanna recently hit #1 on the Hot 100 with second single What's My Name? featuring Drake, but now, the lead single from upcoming set Loud has hit the top of the Hot 100 as she collects her ninth #1, becoming the first artist in history to ever have the second single from the album hit #1 before the first single. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Drake-assisted track What's My Name? has slipped to #8 despite getting the Airplay Gainer title for a second week in a row. Could P!nk be on her way to collect another hit #1 with Raise Your Glass? Seems like it. The track surges to #2 this week and might rise again next week after the high profile appearance at the AMAs. Ke$ha's We R Who We R rises to #4 this week after slipping to #6 last week. Katy Perry's Firework is also creeping up the charts, hitting a new peak of #6 for the popstar's latest single. The Glee cast have crashed the Hot 100 yet again this week, as Forget You and Singing In The Rain/Umbrella debut at #11 and #18 respectively. Last week's big Glee track Teenage Dream falls to #36, but still charting strongly compared to other Glee tracks. The Black Eyed Peas fall to #13 with their latest single The Time (Dirty Bit). Awww, looks like not everyone's liking the new track eh, Peas? Bruno Mars' Grenade rockets up to #17 this week as smash hit #1 single Just The Way You Are continues to slip (slowly) down the Top 10 of the Hot 100. OneRepublic's Secrets is still lingering around the Top 30, moving up to #24 this week, a couple spots from its peak of #21. Rihanna's next single S&M debuts at #53 this week. Carrie Underwood moves up one spot with Mama's Song making a new peak at #58. Christina Perri is back on the charts and moving up with Jar of Hearts hitting #62 this week. Taylor Swift's next single Back to December is moving up as well, climbing to #67 this week. Shakira's Loca remains entrenched at #83. Ne-Yo's One In A Million is also moving up, hitting a new peak of #92 this week. Jason DeRulo though, has fallen quite sharply to #96 after peaking at #76 last week. Ke$ha's promo track lifted from Cannibal called Blow debuts at #97 this week.

Susan Boyle continues her reign on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with The Gift hitting #1 for a second week in a row. Another freakishly talented singer Jackie Evancho with her debut EP O Holy Night debuts at #2 while pop megastar Rihanna has to settle for third place for Loud, but also boasts her best first week sales yet. Glee's Christmas album debuts at #8 while Taylor Swift's Speak Now falls to #9. P!nk's Greatest Hits... So Far! debuts at #14 this week. Lee DeWyze' post-Idol debut Live It Up has become the lowest-selling Idol debut album since Kris Allen debuted at #11 with his self-titled post-Idol debut album, entering the chart at #19, selling roughly 39, 000 copies. Oh dear. Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas II You falls to #22 this week while her first Christmas album Merry Christmas surges up to #124.

P!nk - Raise Your Glass live @ AMAs 2010

If there's anyone who you can count on to deliver a rocking live performance, it's P!nk. Despite being, you know.. PREGNANT, the pop/rock megastar pranced around the stage like a proper rockstar. Sure, she was out of breath. Sure, her backup singers did half the work, but it's P!nk. You can't help but love her. It's definitely gonna get a major sales boost after this performance.

In its third week, Rihanna's What's My Name? has shot straight to the top of the Hot 100 and gets the Airplay Gainer title. Not bad, methinks. P!nk's Raise Your Glass moves up to #7 this week after its video premiered last week. Rihanna's album Rated R released last year has re-entered the charts at #186, mostly due to the success of Only Girl (In The World) and What's My Name?. P!nk new track: Heartbreak Down + Whataya Want From Me

Pop/rock megastar P!nk is getting ready to release her Greatest Hits compilation Greatest Hits... So Far! and it includes a couple of brand new tracks including two that just surfaced - Heartbreak Down & Whataya Want From Me. The latter may have been Adam Lambert's Top 10 hit but P!nk co-wrote it for Funhouse but wasn't used and thus was given to Lambert. Miss P!nk is obviously wanting to get a little slice of that cake.

Heartbreak Down is your average P!nk pop/rock track that trods on mindlessly and ends before you know it. Smells of filler to me, sorry. Whataya Want From Me is a little better, and only because Lambert's version has reigned over radio so many times that this one doesn't just start and end before you know it. Surprisingly Lambert's version doesn't have much variation from the P!nk original and both are just as good.

P!nk is definitely hitting a high. The pop/rock superstar is ready to release her Greatest Hits compilation Greatest Hits... So Far!. The compilation includes the first single Raise Your Glass which is moving up the charts quickly, recently hitting the Top 10 of the chart. Embracing yourself is the theme this year for popstars (Ke$ha's We R Who We R, Katy Perry Firework, Lady Gaga Born This Way) and here's a new addition - P!nk's Raise Your Glass. Besides being an absolute riot of a song, the video doesn't do much for me. I was hoping for a bit more colour in the video. Still P!nk's having fun in the video, which is what it should be to suit the song.
