Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough [Music Video Premiere]

Forgettable, another pointless release from the Peas for their new single Just Can't Get Enough. And Fergie doesn't even sound like herself. It's time for another hiatus and Fergie solo album, thanks.

Billboard Update

No surprises there, Lady Gaga has nabbed the top spot on the Hot 100 with Born This Way, becoming the 1000th song to ever top the chart. Thanks to the amazing talent that is Lea Michele covering Firework on Glee, the Katy Perry original has moved up a spot to #2 while P!nk's F**kin' Perfect falls a spot but gets the Digital Gainer Title standing at #5 this week. The Digital Gainer Title goes to Rihanna, flying up to #8 up from #31 while the Black Eyed Peas see a resurgence for The Time (Dirty Bit) thanks to their performance at the Superbowl. Britney Spears rounds out the Top 10 of the Hot 100 this week at #10. Snapping right behind her heels is Avril Lavigne, whose What The Hell has skyrocketed to a new peak of #11 from #23 last week. Colbie Caillat's new single I Do arrives at the Hot 100 at #23. Glee's covers have crashed the Hot 100 again with Firework, Silly Love Songs, When I Get You Alone, Fat Bottomed Girls and P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) arriving at #34, #45, #47, #56 and $58 respectively. Interestingly, their covers last week Thriller/Heads Will Roll, Bills, Bills, Bills and Need You Now have flown up to a new peak of #38, #44 and #62 from their debut at #75, #79 and #72 respectively last week. Even more interestingly, She's Not There failed to chart last week but has arrived at #87 this week. Also flying up the charts is Adele with Rolling In The Deep hitting a new peak of #41 so far. Ke$ha's new single Blow is also on the way up to #51 this week. Justin Bieber's Pray has debuted at #91 while Jessie J has fallen to #100 with Price Tag.

NOW37 has hit the top of the Billboard 200 Albums Chart this week, while Mumford & Sons and Justin Bieber have gained some traction pre-Grammys. Expect a big sales boost after the Grammys next week. Adele's also gaining some steam over on the albums chart, with debut album 19 hitting #68 up from #88.

Cher and will.i.am - The X Factor Final

The Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am is no stranger to The X Factor or Cheryl Cole. One of Cheryl's acts, Cher Lloyd, was joined by will.i.am himself to perform Where Is The Love and I Gotta Feeling. To be honest, it kind of felt like Cher was trying to outstar Mr. will.i.am but I totally see her becoming part of the Black Eyed Peas. But no one will be able to replace Fergie.

Oh, and just for interests' sake, Cher was eliminated. Peep her elimination video below.

Katy Perry's giving Rihanna a run for her money as the Singles Artist, with Perry sending her third single Firework straight to #1 on the Hot 100 after California Gurls and Teenage Dream hit the summit earlier this year. P!nk's Raise Your Glass has fallen to #2 in the meantime. And speaking of Rihanna, What's My Name? has just rebounded up to #3 on the Hot 100 while Only Girl (In The World) falls to #6. The Black Eyed Peas' single The Time (Dirty Bit) has entered the Top 4 this week. Bruno Mars rockets up to #5 with Grenade this week. Don't count out another Hot 100 #1 for this talented young man here. Ke$ha's We R Who We R falls to #8 this week. The Glee Cast's Dog Days Are Over, Hey, Soul Sister, (I've Had) The Time Of Our Lives, Valarie and Don't Cry For Me Argentina debut at #22, #29, #38, #54 and #97 while Marry You which debuted last week, falls to #57 and their cover of Cee-Lo Green's Forget You rounds out the Top 60 while Singing In The Rain/Umbrella spends its third week on the chart at #99. Taylor Swift slowly inches up the Hot 100 with Back To December moving up to #43 this week while fellow Country/pop superstar Carrie Underwood remains at #58 with Mama's Song. Christina Perri's Jar of Hearts remains entrenched at #65. Shakira's Loca rounds out the Hot 100.

Susan Boyle returns to #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with The Gift, trailed behind by Taylor Swift's Speak Now. Glee's Christmas album shoots up to #4 with the Christmas season just round the corner. The Black Eyed Peas debut at a disappointing #6. Rihanna's Loud rounds out the Top 10 while Mariah Carey rockets up to #12 with the Greatest Gainer Title with Merry Christmas II You. It's bad news all-round for Lee DeWyze as Live It Up falls to #123 in just its third week out.

Billboard Update

Rihanna recently hit #1 on the Hot 100 with second single What's My Name? featuring Drake, but now, the lead single from upcoming set Loud has hit the top of the Hot 100 as she collects her ninth #1, becoming the first artist in history to ever have the second single from the album hit #1 before the first single. Meanwhile, the aforementioned Drake-assisted track What's My Name? has slipped to #8 despite getting the Airplay Gainer title for a second week in a row. Could P!nk be on her way to collect another hit #1 with Raise Your Glass? Seems like it. The track surges to #2 this week and might rise again next week after the high profile appearance at the AMAs. Ke$ha's We R Who We R rises to #4 this week after slipping to #6 last week. Katy Perry's Firework is also creeping up the charts, hitting a new peak of #6 for the popstar's latest single. The Glee cast have crashed the Hot 100 yet again this week, as Forget You and Singing In The Rain/Umbrella debut at #11 and #18 respectively. Last week's big Glee track Teenage Dream falls to #36, but still charting strongly compared to other Glee tracks. The Black Eyed Peas fall to #13 with their latest single The Time (Dirty Bit). Awww, looks like not everyone's liking the new track eh, Peas? Bruno Mars' Grenade rockets up to #17 this week as smash hit #1 single Just The Way You Are continues to slip (slowly) down the Top 10 of the Hot 100. OneRepublic's Secrets is still lingering around the Top 30, moving up to #24 this week, a couple spots from its peak of #21. Rihanna's next single S&M debuts at #53 this week. Carrie Underwood moves up one spot with Mama's Song making a new peak at #58. Christina Perri is back on the charts and moving up with Jar of Hearts hitting #62 this week. Taylor Swift's next single Back to December is moving up as well, climbing to #67 this week. Shakira's Loca remains entrenched at #83. Ne-Yo's One In A Million is also moving up, hitting a new peak of #92 this week. Jason DeRulo though, has fallen quite sharply to #96 after peaking at #76 last week. Ke$ha's promo track lifted from Cannibal called Blow debuts at #97 this week.

Susan Boyle continues her reign on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with The Gift hitting #1 for a second week in a row. Another freakishly talented singer Jackie Evancho with her debut EP O Holy Night debuts at #2 while pop megastar Rihanna has to settle for third place for Loud, but also boasts her best first week sales yet. Glee's Christmas album debuts at #8 while Taylor Swift's Speak Now falls to #9. P!nk's Greatest Hits... So Far! debuts at #14 this week. Lee DeWyze' post-Idol debut Live It Up has become the lowest-selling Idol debut album since Kris Allen debuted at #11 with his self-titled post-Idol debut album, entering the chart at #19, selling roughly 39, 000 copies. Oh dear. Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas II You falls to #22 this week while her first Christmas album Merry Christmas surges up to #124.

Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit) [Music Video Premiere]

The weirdest single of the year still goes to The Black Eyed Peas with The Time (Dirty Bit), but it's still shaping up to be quite a hit, debuting at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week. After a high profile appearance at the recent American Music Awards, the Peas have released their music video for The Time (Dirty Bit). They are clearly gunning for a big jump next week on the Hot 100. The music video doesn't do anything much for me, but it's less what-the-crap-is-this-mess and more.. Well, fine to listen to.

Black Eyed Peas - The Time (Dirty Bit) live @ AMAs 2010

Dividing critics and fans' opinion on the Black Eyed Peas' new single The Time (Dirty Bit), an over-autotuned wreck, the foursome delivered their first major debut performance of The Time (Dirty Bit). It was generally alright, didn't do much for me. It's definitely going to get a big sales boost though.

In The Name of Love/Free Your Mind, One Love (People Get Ready) debut at #31, #38 and #41 respectively. Katy Perry's also on the move up with Firework hitting a new peak of #9 this week. The Black Eyed Peas' dreary autotuned fest of a new single The Time (Dirty Bit) debuts at #12 this week. Carrie Underwood's Mama's Song has cracked the Top 60 with the country songbird's latest single hitting a new peak of #59 this week. After being announced as her next single, Taylor Swift's Back to December has returned to the Hot 100, re-entering at #74. Christina Perri's debut single Jar of Hearts moves up a spot to #75 while Jason DeRulo's latest single What If turns out to be a slow-burner, debuting at #76 despite being released quite sometime ago. Ke$ha's promo single Cannibal debuts at #77 this week.

Black Eyed Peas new track: The Time (The Dirty Bit)

The Black Eyed Peas have managed to stay on the forefront of the music industry last year when they took over the Hot 100 with their #1 singles Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling. The group also managed to scrape in a third #1, albeit a less successful one, Imma Be. Nevertheless, the group is back with some new material (though they are still on tour). The Time (Dirty Bit) is the lead single lifted off from their upcoming studio album The Beginning. Honestly, I really don't like this one. It's hardly as immediately infectious as the likes of Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling. In fact, they actually sample Dirty Dancing's Time Of My Life, which is every bit as cheesy and corny as sampling an old song can be, however, it's also one of the best bits of the song, which shows how bad this song is.

I'll admit, I'm not ready for new BEP material yet. Fergie, just go solo again, please.

Katy Perry's California Gurls continues to dominate the Hot 100 while Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug slips 1 place to #5 this week. After the music video premiere, Lady Gaga's Alejandro moves back to its peak at #6. The Black Eyed Peas stay put at #9 with Rock That Body. Jason DeRulo's latest single Ridin' Solo hits its peak at #19, trailed behind by previous single In My Head. Alicia Keys' latest single also makes a move up to #22, along with Carrie Underwood's Undo It, rising to its current peak at #23 while Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed falls 2 spots to #24. The 2010 FIFA World Cup's Waka Waka (This Time For Africa) performed by Latin artist Shakira debuts at #44. Usually on album release weeks, the lead single from the album will start picking up digital downloads, but Christina Aguilera's latest studio album Bionic has picked up a higher charting single on the Hot 100 compared to its second single WooHoo featuring female rapper Nicki Minaj, Bionic the title track makes a debut at #66. But it isn't all hopeless for Bionic's lead single Not Myself Tonight, it re-enters at #75, hopefully it starts to go up again now while second single WooHoo re-enters the Hot 100 at #99. Beautiful Monster, Ne-Yo's latest single, also the lead single from his upcoming album debuts at #67. I'm not sure why it's started to go up again, but P!nk's Glitter In The Air is rising the charts again, moving up to #86 this week.

Glee's latest soundtrack bows at #1, beating out The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's soundtrack which arrives at #2. Christina Aguilera's brand new album Bionic bows at #3. Colbie Caillat's Breakthrough returns to the Top 100 as the album moves up to #100. Charice's self-titled debut falls to #156.

Usher continues to storm the Hot 100 with the will.i.am collaboration OMG at #1 for yet another week, trailed behind by Katy Perry's collaboration with Snoop Dogg California Gurls. Lady Gaga stays put at #6 with Alejandro. The Black Eyed Peas' Rock That Body moves up and peaks at #16 this week. Miley Cyrus' Can't Be Tamed falls 10 places to #18 this week, but with more promotion, I'm sure Cyrus' single will start climbing again. Lee DeWyze's coronation single Beautiful Day, a cover of the U2 classic, lands him at #24, noticeably much lower compared to last season's winner Kris Allen with his coronation song No Boundaries which peaked at #11 last year. He also places a cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah at #44 and The Boxer at #88. Carrie Underwood's Undo It shoots up to #25 up from #59 last week thanks to that performance on the American Idol Grand Finale. Crystal Bowersox' Idol coronation single Up To The Mountain makes a debut at #57 while Lee's duet with Crystal on Falling Slowly debuts at #66. Christina Aguilera's Not Myself Tonight holds unsteadily at #95.

The Glee cast holds the top spot on Billboard's 200 albums chart in a second consecutive week. The Sex And The City 2 Soundtrack debuts at #13. Carrie Underwood's Play On moves up 11 spots to #24 this week. Miranda Cosgrove's debut album Sparks Fly isn't falling as fast as I thought it initially would, dropping just 2 places from last week to #45 this week. We Are The Fallen's Tear the World Down falls to #160 in its third week, thanks to hardly any promotion.

Thanks to the performance on American Idol, Lady Gaga's lastest single Alejandro leaps to #11 up from #16. The Black Eyed Peas have another hit on their hand it seems, their Idol Gives Back performance obviously hasn't seen the effects wear off yet as they jump to #36 after debuting at #62. Colbie Caillat is still creeping up the charts as I Never Told You climbs up 3 spots to #65 this week. Miranda Cosgrove's Kissin' U is slipping pretty quickly, falling to #91, but then again, with no promotion... Carrie Underwood's current single Undo It returns to the Hot 100 at #95. Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted without any promotion has managed to peak only at #96 and has slipped to #98 this week.

Godsmack's The Oracle debuts at the summit of the Billboard 200 albums chart. Country trio Lady Antebellum's Need You Now holds steadily at #2, even earning the "Greatest Gainer" title this week. Miranda Cosgrove's debut album Sparks Fly falls to #32 from the debut at #8 last week.

Ke$ha stays strong and at its peak of #8 with Your Love Is My Drug. Lady Gaga's Alejandro moves up to #16 and expect it to move up again thanks to an American Idol performance. Timbaland is creeping up the charts as well with the help of Katy Perry, who's If We Ever Meet Again rises and peaks to #37 this week. Two divas see a rise in their latest singles as R&B songstress Alicia Keys' Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready) and Christina Aguilera's Not Myself Tonight moves up to #44 and #46 respectively. Miranda Cosgrove's single Kissin' U flies up the chart to #54 up from #95. Thanks to promotional performances on American Idol, Rock That Body by the Black Eyed Peas and Shakira's Gypsy debut at #62 and #65 respectively. Colbie Caillat's I Never Told You is making its way up the Hot 100 as well, rising to #68 this week. Kelly Clarkson's remains in the bottom-tier of the Hot 100 with her current single All I Ever Wanted, which is unsurprising since Clarkson has been on the road for her All I Ever Wanted and is probably too busy to do any promotion or a music video.

British singer Taio Cruz' single Break Your Heart sails straight to the top of the Hot 100, dethroning last week's #1 Imma Be by the Black Eyed Peas, which has slipped to #5. Country group Lady Antebellum's Need You Now moves up yet again, this time to #2. Rihanna's Rude Boy might just have more chart longevity compared to her other singles released from Rated R, which managed to peak in the Top 10 but falling out of the charts in just a matter of weeks. Rude Boy climbs up to #4 this time, proving Rihanna's success isn't just a fluke. Jason DeRulo's In My Head slowly creeps up the Hot 100 peaking at #8 this week. Lady Gaga's Telephone sits just outside the Top 10, but thanks to so much hype and the recent music video premiere, expect Telephone to rebound up the charts. Justin Bieber is frankly, unstoppable. Never Let You Go, the second single from My World 2.0, debuts at #21 on the Hot 100, even before Baby has run out of steam. Thanks to digital downloads, Ridin' Solo, a track from Jason DeRulo's self-titled album debuts at #33 this week. Carrie Underwood's Temporary Home rises and peaks at #48 this week. As Alice In Wonderland storms box offices around the world, the first single from the soundtrack Alice, contributed by Avril Lavigne, arrives on the Hot 100 at #71 this week. Thanks to a promotional boost from performing on American Idol, Danny Gokey's debut single My Best Days Are Ahead Of Me debuts at #82 this week. La Roux' single Bulletproof was a hit #1 single in the UK, but it seems like it has taken a few months for the Americans to like it. Bulletproof makes a debut at #92 this week.

Danny Gokey's debut effort arrives at #4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with a decent first week sales of 60, 000+.
