Billboard Update

This week is the week the Black Eyed Peas' domination on the Hot 100 ends. I Gotta Feeling drops to #5 while the new 'it' song of these few weeks is Jay Sean's Down featuring Lil Wayne. In other words, all the other songs step up one position. Miley Cyrus' Party In The USA, Jay Z's star studded Run This Town, and Whatcha Say by Jason DeRulo. Paparazzi by Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me exchange places. And so does Mariah Carey's Obsessed and Kings of Leon's Use Somebody. Fireflies' Owl City peaks at #11 while Carrie Underwood's Cowboy Casanova drops to #14. Hopefully her performance at the CMAs help it rocket into the Top 10. Beyonce's Sweet Dreams goes to #12 this week. Kelly Clarkson's Already Gone peaks at #23. I Want To Know What Love Is, the second single from Mariah Carey's 12th studio album, peaks at a new high of #60. Kris Allen's debut single lands on the charts at #89.

A slew of new albums have dominated the Billboard 200. Barbara Streisand debuts atop of the charts, with Paramore's Brand New Eyes debuting at #2, and Mariah's Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel at #3. And any Mariah album that misses the top spot is sure to be big news. Madonna's Celebration debuts at #7. Selena Gomez' pop rock teen debut album slips into #9 in its first week on the charts.
