Billboard Update

The three songs that were entrenched at #1 a few weeks ago have come back together, with Ke$ha's TiK ToK at #1, Lady Gaga at #2 with Bad Romance, and Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' Empire State Of Mind at #3. Another new track enters the Top 10, coming in the form of Hard by Rihanna, shooting to #9, up from #15 last week. Orianthi's According To You continues its steady climb up the charts, climbing up to #26 this week, trailed behind by Ke$ha's Your Love Is My Drug debuting due to high digital downloads, and so does Blah Blah Blah, which debuts at #7, and Take It Off which lands on the charts at #85. After a steady climb the past few weeks, Kris Allen's Live Like We're Dying drops to #33 this week. Michael Buble's Haven't Met You Yet continues its second week at its peak of #52 on the Hot 100. Adam Lambert rises and peaks at #65 for his second single Whataya Want From Me. Carrie Underwood's second single Temporary Home is beginning to climb, this week up to #89. Cobra Starship's second single Hot Mess climbs up to #91 this week.

Ke$ha's Animal makes its debut on the charts at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, shoving Susan Boyle into second place, ending her run at the top of the Billboard 200, and becoming the first to do so, after Susan Boyle managed to block Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige from hitting #1. Katharine McPhee's sophomore album Unbroken debuts at #27 on the charts. With the popularity of According To You growing, Orianthi's Believe is making its way up the charts, jumping to #121 this week.
