Melissa Smith is a Canadian singer/actress/choreographer/model who tried to make it into the music industry when she joined reality TV singing competitions Making The Band 3 and Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For The Next Doll forming Danity Kane and joining The Pussycat Dolls. She is now a solo singer signed to 4847 Records and also focusing on acting.
Besides those that watched those two shows, I guess not many people know about her. One of her latest projects is a lead role in an action movie starring and directed by Dolph Lundgren called Command Performance in which she plays Venus, a big music star who becomes hostage after a Moscow charity concert turns bloody. Her song Lost In Love will also feature in the film.
