Apparently, Jennifer Lopez is set to take up the judges seat on the Idol judging panel. Nope, she's not replacing Simon. She's replacing Ellen DeGeneres. The funny talkshow host we know and love. Unfortunately, she was very awkward on Idol and honestly, I'm glad she's leaving Idol. Not because I dislike her, because I don't. I just think she was never herself on Idol and am glad to see her returning to what she does best.
Jennifer Lopez apparently has been in talks with Idol execs and if you remember, she did mentor once in Season 6 and I thought she did quite alright. Hope she's better on Idol than Ellen.
