Gosh, what can I say? When I heard Jordin Sparks was going to release her sophomore album, I was rather excited because I did like what I was hearing from the debut album. Quickly, the moment I saw it, I bought it. I heard Battlefield before and if that was the direction Jordin was heading, I'd love her album. True enough, she did. Apparently, she said that the whole album focused around the theme of Battlefield. She recorded over 30 songs for the album, but I have to admit I'm loving these 14 tracks here. I think the debut album was all about finding her sound, her look, and style of music, but was basically very much in the Pop genre. Now though, she's back with R&B and gosh, she sounds amazing. Battlefield is awesome, S.O.S (Let The Music Play) will be the second single, but I like Emergency (911) better and they have similar titles. Was I The Only One really is a standout ballad and wow, I love almost every track on the album.
